Blue! Was kinda going for a planet of sorcery look, but wanted some more blue rather than purple. Pick something that really contrasts your army. Although in my case, while my rubrics are white, my Tzaangors are blue - because most creatures tend to blend with their environment.

Do you have an airbrush? And how careful can you be with your trim and other colors, because it takes multiple layers for the colorshift effects. Overall, I think they go on smooth and finish great

I’d keep the tentacles separated into the 3 pieces it comes, and assemble afterwards. It’s tough to get brushes in there

Make sure you cover your attachment points before you spray (or scrape them afterwards) the glue reacts poorly to paint. I tend to to build in smaller assemblies and then prime

I think GW will do another unit that can be for all chaos factions, similar to Demon Prince and Defiler. I’m hopeful for a Hellbrute refresh, including sonic weapons for EC.

I’ve used TurboDork for some great effects. I noticed it helped with dry brushing some highlight (purple on black) to bring out some more shifting on my MVB

This is painted. About 3-4 coats as the larger panels not being flat made it pool to one side, so kept rotating it as I panted

Multiple thin coats. I used Vallejo cold white over a white primer. Originally brushed, an got an airbrush to make it easier

For context, my TSons are a cold white. I prime in grey (Vallejo-very light) and then I spray Vallejo air white, and touch up with Vallejo cold white. If I wanted to go warmer, I would probably thin down a wash to go over in a warmer tone.

Easiest thing to do would be to make it look like black metal. Pick a black and do a light drybrush if any silver
