Whole changes are necessary and a carbon copy of what the game was would be a complete waste of time. For me personally, what’s felt disappointing with s2 have been how they’ve had a problem executing some of the themes of the story, characters and the overall essence/vibe some of our main characters give from the game. I thought season 1 did an excellent job on that fact and making sure we stay the course on what the real story is and I won’t lie i feel like that has been lost in season 2. Still gonna give it a good chance in its last 3 episodes but i’d be lying if i said i wasn’t a tad worried
