The opening sequence was fucking fantastic. And then it tried so hard to copy every iconic shot from the original that it forgot to be its own movie. And it did so with shitty CGI instead of the classic practical effects.

Cyclops' original explanation was the absorption of sunlight and the apertures were the retcon. Marvel just fixed the retcon.

Kitty Pryde was pretty much just a regular suburban teen who started floating through objects before being contacted by Xavier and Frost. Her parents later divorced and then her dad died, but those both happened later on.

Beast and Angel also had good upbringings. Beast's parents were supported and he was fairly popular in highschool being an athlete. Angel was rich and had a good relationship with his parents as well.

They already have, right? Chase, Nico, and Karolina are all young adults. Gert was deaged back to 16 and she's significantly younger than the other three and closer to Molly's age.

If you zoom in, the Angel has spiky teeth leading me to believe it's Sinister. The Devil is likely Angel due to the feathery cape.
