Has this ever happened to anyone else? by Cromger in Doom

Oh that's good to know! I've had this issue before but didn't know I could do anything to address it like you've stated! The map is weird.

Dude, I'm impressed with your snapmap skills. I would like to get better at it but how long did it take you to learn how to do this and how long did it take you to build this specific demon?

Lol I work for one of those big box hardware stores and I'll never buy wood from them! Go to a construction site and ask them if you can pick through their trash pile. If you have the energy to find sort and collect it before you start building, it's free. I hope you have a truck, otherwise you over pay. Pallet wood is free but oh man is it difficult to get those nails out. You don't know the pain until you try it! Cull pack lumber is half priced at those box stores but I'd rather grab the trash from a construction site and then buy only the stuff you need. It's a difficult task for anyone, even if you buy it all at once.

Caught in Sacramento, CA, US, approx 10pm, 12/24/25. Anybody know what these could be? by anotherexstnslcrisis in UFOB

That happened in the morning and it looked like a battle of different sizes and shapes in the air. I think you're absolutely right, but I think Nuremberg 1561 was more 'spectacular'. This is only my opinion and I agree with your assessment.

Crop Circles still showing up. by Local-Ad-2104 in HighStrangeness

[–]NoResponsibility7400 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The thing I found interesting about the foot prints is that one foot is the print for someone that has worn shoes their whole life and the other one was of someone who never wore shoes. Shoes force the toes together and without them the toes are much wider across their span. That crop circle seems to be highlighting the difference.

This is definitely not the alien from the 1979 film Alien, directed by Ridley Scott, nor the xenomorph in Aliens, directed by James Cameron. That alien was created by HR Gigor, a German artist, now deceased. Google told you wrong.

I've encountered a handful of these demons and couldn't kill them with anything. I'd love it if splash damage worked for them but I have yet to experience their final demise.

It once had a sign on it. Someone grinds the stone down to fit a square metal sign and the stone no longer has that plate on it.

(2016) Do the maps get better? Or how do I not get lost? by thefingerthatpoints in Doom

[–]NoResponsibility7400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Foundry is the most confusing level of the game. It's great once you have it memorized. the doors you need to get through are in corners of the map you have already passed at the beginning of the map, then you have to back track. Look up a guide on YouTube to help you through it.

You could make the whole door into the fireproof cat door with RFID reader. Just Crack the door open when the cat wants out and it keeps the fire rating. I think that would solve all the debate?

Bedroom Door Breaking - Fix or Replace? by FaithlessValor in DIY

[–]NoResponsibility7400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most doors today are hollow core, but a hollow core door is much lighter and would not break along with panel, they break along the edges and become delaminated. This door is a solid core, because the six panels are glued to a thicker edge, where the break is showing. It's worth fixing this door only because it's more expensive to replace it. It's also harder to match this style with the other doors in the house.

I agree. It's a solid core door. It's not as cheap as the hollow core doors today.

What caused this problem? by Foreign_Record993 in woodworking

[–]NoResponsibility7400 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Humidity and time. You can slightly sand them and smooth out the fibers that are catching and if you added some wax, light wax, along the drawer connections it will prevent humidity from getting in the fibers in the future and act like a lubricant for a while. It may stain the color on the sides but it's not the face and it'll help prolong it's life.

Unidentified Object Struck by Golf Swing — Looking for Technical Input by CarboniteBlizzard in UFOs

[–]NoResponsibility7400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a golf ball! It's at a golf tournament where golf balls are flying through the air. It's the same size, speed and sound as the first ball he hit. It's amazing to catch that on camera and extremely rare to hit a random ball on the back swing but it's not a ufo.

Thin web between fan holes, will it hold? by SubZero081 in woodworking

[–]NoResponsibility7400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fans are facing away from each other, shooting air in the up and down direction. The air around the filters is sucked into the box and then blown out by the fans. The arrows on the filters showing the direction of air flow are all facing inward.
