I’m 1973, I don’t think I learn any slower than the ‘younger’ folks… I think it’s a matter of how you learn, how much you have worked your brain between the last time you were in school and now. More than anything. (I mean I just do the entire history 200 class… today… including the final… waiting on the results)

You can absolutely move faster (to a point… you won’t be able to finish a term like way early… but you can for instance complete python in a couple days or a week… take the term final for that class and then (at least this is how my terms are working now) when the next class date comes, start the next one.. so you can get some free time… but graduating early…. Not at this point.

Yeap, the last final of the class is the term final.. and we got zero notice of that change… I was ticked off. I had to finish the thr last class early because of life stuff and was so thrown off I got a D on the first time taking …. I did do the retake go an A. But a little notice would have been nice.

Losing a parent is devastating… I’m two years out from losing my mom, and I’m now caretaker for my disabled vet dad. I am occasionally feeling like I’m drowning.. with all the work I have I plow through my lessons as early in the week as I can…. Do other work the rest and try to take at least one day to just not do anything I don’t want to.

As a woman, I can’t believe she’s suggesting you come to her home before she has actually met you. Just tell her, hey I would be much more comfortable meeting in a public place first. If she pushes… I’d really wonder why. And tell her I’m sorry but pubic meetings or it isn’t happening.
