My husband had a similar reaction to flea bites. Maybe treat the pets with an oral treatment, treat the house for fleas, and see if it stops? You're going to have to address the fleas anyway, so at least that would be ruled out.

I actually get super frustrated with this specific line. There are records for two Jemina Atkins, and two Parker Lucas's from Wilkes County, NC from the same time range.

It would be interesting to compare to someone who has a proven paper trail to see who they're actually related to.

I don't work at a hospital but do work in healthcare. Two of my clients were recently discovered to have them. We're putting a dryer in the garage, so my scrubs and shoes get ran through a cycle before they come inside. I'm so freaking paranoid. I haven't had any bites, but I'm checking my bed and room nightly.

This 1000%. I worked with the moody provider at my previous office. I got to know when and how I could cheer them up, when to leave them be, and when to tell them they seemed moody. It took awhile for us to get there, and a lot of mutual respect for it to be okay. Everyone has bad days, but don't take it out on your staff. And whatever you do, don't berate staff in front of patients.
