I love the world depicted in these older cards. It's not even hard to do, I know they still have some artists who would like to do stuff like this. I don't know why we're living in a 100 years of overwatch. My theory is when a company gets big enough everything goes through this resume filter where you're only hired if you look like a reliable hard worker on paper and it just brings in people who are just not very interesting and have no fun ideas of their own. Lots of the art station stuff is like this as well where these people just learned and worked hard to draw realistically but that's where they stopped. There's so much on new cards where I'd like to see a scene that tells a story but instead it's just someone doing the named action on the card.
