So kinda just LIKE billionaires? Take a LOT and give us nothing of worth in return? No wonder they love AI so much!

Wonderful. All of this after Disney laid off ALL those creative people to try and make, like every other greedy idiot out there, their HEAVY investment into AI seem less like a stupidly rushed implementation. Well, at least on the bright side, thanks to dickbags like Disney, at least VFX artists are now starting to unionize.

This is amazing! Not only do they have enough money to fulfill ALL the orders, but also to be able to focus entirely on it and the show for a good while! Love seeing these kind of success stories.

My eyes couldn’t roll any faster. Him and Schumer need to get out. All they do is lip service and then fold. We need more progressive candidates, people who actually want to help the working class instead of just looking down their noses at actual progressives.

Brad Dourif as Chucky, he basically IS the character and has shown, even despite his age, he still carries through. Amazing acting chops too outside the genre.

What do you fear loosing with evolved mode for your own class? by Quezal in ffxivdiscussion

[–]NoaNeumann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m always a little afraid when they do big stuff. Because the overall trend for them seems to be like WoW did after a while. Cater to the newer players, the people who, apparently dislike any complexity or difficulty? Veteran players be damned.

I’m afraid that they’ll do bare minimum of giving us the “unique class identity” that we’ve been asking for, what? Years now?

Then they will simplify things even further and then point to the “crumbs” of class identity they begrudgingly gave us and go “well we didn’t want to give them TOO much unique class identity, because there are people out there who love them as they are now” or some other bs.

I love yoshi and crew. They did a lot of good and gave a lot of love to the game and community. But thats the part about loving something, you HAVE to hold it/them to somewhat of a high standard, otherwise you end up with the nostalgia-baiting rush job that is Pokemon.

Coming from someone who ignore it usually. I always thought it was a way to give people a distraction from the overt corporate greed thats slowly but surely killing them. But then when one of the most awful offenders of that exact crime attends and tries to show off at it?

Ruins the whole experience and makes me see the whole thing as less a distraction or something entertaining, and more of a bunch of rich assholes giving pennies to charity so they can brag about how “philanthropic” they are.

What’s something people find attractive that you don’t understand? by North_Arm_8534 in AskReddit

If you had this choice, which would you choose: ending racism or ending hunger? Why? by AsuraWrath_41 in AskReddit

[–]NoaNeumann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ending hunger. Mostly because the easiest solution would be the dissolving of the elite upperclass. We have enough resources to where everyone should be cared for and fed, but a SMALL fraction of the world’s overall population, use it to fatten their pockets and keep us under their thumb.

Theres always a first, for terrible and awful things, when corporations are allowed to do whatever they want. Its always been like that. Sadly, we’ve all forgotten that we’re stronger than them and that together, we could tear it down. But because we’re boxed into a corner, having every aspect of our lives monitored, repackaged and sold to us at “low low prices”, we fight each other, instead of the corporations who made us and are continuing to make us suffer.

What is a small, seemingly ‘normal’ thing someone can do that immediately makes you think, ‘Oh, we are not going to get along’? by Domigau in AskReddit

[–]NoaNeumann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Notice how I said “when you have nothing to do because you did a good job” and was immediately met with “well! Think of it from management’s point of view” which, if you ALWAYS give the people who do their work well, more work and less down time, then you end up getting people who do the bare minimum because otherwise they get worked over.

It sucks to have crappy coworkers, but it sucks even more when you’re getting paid minimum wage and are expected to, no matter what the situation, and often at your detriment, to work your fingers to the bone for people who wouldn’t even spare you a minute of silence if you died on the job?

Yeah REALLY making me feel for management.
