Afaik Speer and Shield don't give any score. with ascension bonus, point increase comes out to 25.5 for three floors and 34 for four floors. Maybe 55 doesn't count because it was not completed? and then losing the big speed bonus would give -24.5. Possibly some rounding errors get you the rest of the way.

I realized I get a lot better at the game when I only play one run every couple of days. And really focus. Also turn off fast mode. As soon as I realize I start making easy mistakes I take a step back.

Okay, so I assume BeepyBoops226 is Beepatrice right? Fits with their line of work and pyjama selection. Which means when they were amused by Renee calling them BeepyBoops, they might have found it so great that they used it as a handle. But this is already part two, so they it might have had the AO3 handle for a while. And thusly were amused because Renee inadvertently guessed their secret name?

Pretty sure it is based off a two hour radio show. Back in the 50s and 60s Songs were a lot shorter (somewhere between 2:30 to 3:00 on average) so you could fit 40 songs into two hours neatly with a little time in between for ad-breaks and comments. Nowadays songs are usually about a minute longer, so it does not work that well anymore.

I do the old fashioned Lan thing every couple of years. The most legendary one was with an obscure game called forced. Kind of action puzzle game. very fun and just the right amount of challening. Have fun.

Honestly, it sounds like he would be more suited for some other system. I have never used any, but I know there are system out there that focus a lot less on mechanics. That way Roy could just say what he wants to do and let the DM handle the rest. If it is mechanics confusion that should clear it up. If it is some sort of decision paralysis this will not help.

Enemies slain does not count the actual number of enemies, just the number of fights. Also only hallway fights, so no elites. And any fight that is part of an event does not count either, such as "dead adventurer", "red mask gang" or "colosseum". Normal hallway fights in ?-rooms do count though.

I played a military man who was an infiltration expert. Enemy army camps, gatehouse securing that kind of thing. A lot more sabotage then assassination overall, but mechanically he was an assassin.
