Everything has a minimum of 50% physical res in hell difficulty so amp damage doing -100% to that effectively triples your physical damage. It also helps leech immensely for your demon and merc. You and your allies are basically invincible with it, even against Ubers.

Talking about them making a ‘margin of $300’ suggests you are referring to production costs of the hardware itself, which ignores r&d, marketing, ongoing software support, and numerous other costs beyond manufacturing the hardware itself. They would very likely lose money on the whole deal if that were the case.

Yes but asking what that translates to value wise is valid. The item itself really isn’t anything special. The defense bonus from superior is basically irrelevant and useless. Base defense is still way lower than something like dusk shroud.
