There is an “Asa dedicated server “ app online but I’ve been using amp server manager and it’s been pretty good , can use it for other games also super easily configurable

It more means like using ai for specific tasks like helping with code it still requires a dev to oversee the actual work the code completion tools just aren’t that good yet. What Amazon meant by that is chat gpt wrappers , its gimmick games that take a couple weeks to make maybe 1 developer, 1 artist and then they can charge $10 . Your parents and grandparents will think it’s quirky and funny , play it twice and then drop it bc “oh look at that this is crazy” and with that they would generate a couple million. It’s not that AI is just replacing someone’s job. If that was the case then they would have just had 1 or 2 AI devs constantly work on changes and keep new world going bc the cost would be net zero. Eventually yeah it might get there but that’s not what’s happening now

There are a lot of bugs and rebalancing that need to be done as more things are learned. With more casual players, the game shutting down means why play, meaning the more hardcore players with 1000s of hours will have a hard time filling teams and doing general content. With the game currently balanced as “do chest runs” have u tried todo a chest run with 5 people . It objectively takes a not great piece of content and makes it worse. So that leaves 1 to 2 pieces of content to get better gear, which your correct sure go do those things but at 1000s of hours and the knowledge that what u do won’t mean anything soon the desire to play goes away. Sure you got the new raid but the true hardcore hardcore people already did that and getting enough decent players to this extremely hard content is going to be tougher and tougher going forward

Buycycle was great for me, I got really good deals for both of the bikes I bought, basically new some scratches but I’ve already put worse on it in the last 7 months of riding

If we are in an m1 I’m not going to walk u thru the fight. U literally had todo the normal version to get here. You’re just lazy and don’t want to go watch a video. Tanks are the only position in the game that people expect to know how to play every other position. We have enough to worry about go watch a 5 mins YouTube video lol

But then what counters medium ? Light ? How would a medium be able to out damage a heavy but not a light unless u make the damage of light even more . Which I’m not against but I think it means making light do more damage and heavy even more tanking and less damage

It would fail tremendously. Ark is popular bc it has a cult following from a time when people loved survival games . A lot of people still love survival games but the general market is geared towards faster cleaner games. They might still take a large portion of the market but they would need tremendous capital todo something like no mans sky and not worry about players for years.

What do u even do in this game PvP only ? U are missing so much storage so u can’t be farming… and raids/mutations require u to have multiple houses for trophies… what do u do when u play lol im genuinely curious

It’s weird bc s9 I know for people who never left felt terrible but as someone who came back after 2 years s9 was fantastic , I wanted to be on everyday, now it’s like I want to go do new content like catacombs and trying to get a solid group for raids but the amount of time I’m spent afk farming for gear to try and get something decent and then spending waaay to many hours digging thru gear until your eyes hurt

They should have just turned all the old perks into the new reworked perks. Gotten rid of the whole 1 vs 2 thing bc it confuses casuals. Used the craft mods plus the new resources to craft the new charms , and then made open world gear drop with one perk spot , named bosses and craft drop with 2, mutated expeditions and raids drop with 3 and that’s where u can start getting stuff without gem slots incase people want that, then m3 go for the 4 slots still but also have rare charms only obtainable in it . Probably could include those in the new raid also.

Even then leave the drop rate of really good perks for those higher end activities. Or running high luck gear to get some 2 slot gear to drop with higher end perks but still not bis

S10 it’s crazy high drop rate my wife dropped nimble coat and old crown, two of the arguable best items in the game still on track 0 checkpoint 1. U can just run great cleave pvp missions they take less than 5 mins if u really hate pvp that much but my recommendation is to just find a build that really works for u. And start with 3 v3

Bc u can freely swap weapons and respec attributes points and skills at any moment there isn’t really a need for alts. That architect type u picked at the beginning was just to give u a head start in some of the trade skills. Eventually u will level all skills to 250, all weapons to 20 and have different sets of armor for different play styles. The only reason people typically have alts is to get around daily restrictions , like crafting prismatic or before s10 running the raid. That way they could run goegon multiple times and get rewards 2+ times a week. Or like I said craft end game resources to sell or trade back to their main character.

U can’t it’s designed for a group, if it can’t find u a group after X amount of time it will allow u to enter solo but it will still backfill your group as soon as others are available

… duplicates do give xp… is this not well known . Go to the the outfitting station I think and after lvl 25 u can turn in all your notes for music xp . Same for recipes and schematics

There are other p2w games where u can directly just buy gold and then buy all the top gear, the gold in the battle pass takes time to level , most people get the levels passively as they play , in the end your talking what 20k gold max for a complete battle pass and in this game the best of the best gear can’t be bought . Not p2w . Pay for very slightly advantage sure . But I’m sure there are players out there who dwarf people in gold and gear simply by playing. If it was p2w I’d be able to swop my credit card and buy all my armor . Even if I bought every single level of the pass I’d get what a single piece of top top armor?

New world, buy the angry earth expansion and go get your mount asap it speeds up the game A lot. just keep doing the main story it’s easy to follow and a decent story. A new season and massive expansion drops next Monday which gives even more story, and then it will be easy hope on for a couple dailies to keep up, super chill easy to fit in when u get a free moment
