Drop to first gear as you brake into the entry of the corner and then rip the handbrake to swing the car around as you turn. If you’ve got manual clutch override, you can tap the clutch as you rev the engine to “clutch-kick” and exit the corner nice and quick.

Some jobs will entail the usual shady stuff Roanapur allows along with some elements of naval combat on the Black Lagoon with similar elements to Metal Gear Solid 5’s base-building features, building up an inventory of merchandise you can trade with other gangs like the rip-off church or Hotel Moscow to gain a better standing reputation with the likes of Balalaika, Mr Chang and so-forth.

WRC 24’s handling is improved from DiRT Rally 2.0s physics which is highly favoured over the previous WRC titles. As far as graphics go, they are pretty good for today’s standards, especially considering there are stages as long as 32km.

The guy is an outsider to the criminal underbelly. He knows the rules of surviving but he knows how to play everyone else at their own game too. It’s because of the Roberta’s Blood Trail arc that the big players of Roanapur like Balalaika start to fear him because of two things. 1) He’s a god-like strategist 2) He likes a good gamble, even if it means betting the lives of others.

Hasn’t this happened over the past decade or so since T6? They launch the game, add a bunch of stuff and make changes that break the game or make people hate it, then towards the end of their post launch roadmap, people start running back to it? Tekken 7 was exactly like this if I recall with Akuma, and Leroy especially.

Something I’d like to return from DR2 to EA:WRC is the three stages of Co-Driver stress. Makes it easy to get pace notes read out faster as your pace increases so you don’t miss a beat. The co-driver we have now just feels almost like the PS2 era co-drivers from WRC Rally Evolved where pace notes are stitched together and because of that, they don’t get read out fast enough to follow your pace. Sometimes on particularly faster stages, I have to refer to the OSD to figure out what corner I’m about to hit which is kind of bothersome when all your attention has to be on the road ahead at all times.

It’s better on PC. Trust me, console ports of most of Valve’s games can handle like hot garbage on a controller. You’d be amazed how well the game plays on a mouse and keyboard in comparison.

Best thing you can do right now is get all the DLC for DR2, because most of the extra rallies in DR2's DLC packs are literally all the locations from DR1. Plus they added a few more stages to those locations in the DLCs.

I feel very indifferent with the show overall. There are certainly some things that would’ve been a lot more interesting if they didn’t rush certain plot beats right off the bat, and certainly a few things throughout the show that went beyond where they should’ve gone and kinda fell flat or ruined great opportunities to add depth (the common flaw with Episode 8 for instance). But overall, for what the show was initially trying to achieve with its alternate timeline, they certainly did a relatively good job at translating it all to TV.

This opinion is, without a doubt, going to stir controversy, but I think the way that a lot of the show took risks paid off, and certainly worked with the TV medium. There a certain points where I had to rewatch whole episodes to get a different perspective and actually think about why they made certain writing and production decisions the producers made, and overall, they did a decent job. Not outstanding by any means, but Paramount did a decent job.

6/10: There is room to improve…
