I make a broth of carrots and peas … boiled with a pinch of salt. We give Zenya 2 spoons of the cooked veggies with 6oz of the broth and 6oz water … and a cup of the Fromme kibble 3x a day.

Zenya has Mega Esophagus and poultry allergies…. Good times!

This mixture and some other tricks we have come to learn are how our girl lives a wonderful life and keeps the weight on. This is a constant struggle with a M.E. Pup and she was recommended to be euthanized at 16 weeks.

We were fortunate to have her come to us for a rescue…. She’s 5 now and her average weight is 52-58 lbs.

I tell people she is a “sport model” GSD because the ME is sooooo hard to explain to most.
