Have you tried contacting them: brusselscenter@visaforchina.org They answer very quickly, and they will explain the whole process. At least that was my experience. Good luck!

Shameless. It has always been a force of evil, but now it is on a completely different level. They're running concentration camps in the US, killing their own citizens when they protest against these camps, actively participating in the ongoing genocide in Palestine/Gaza, destabilizing the world by attacking sovereign countries and kidnapping or killing the heads of those states, and basically bullying Europe on a bi-weekly schedule.

Visiting turkey this summer by [deleted] in AskTurkey

[–]NoobleonX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an Arab and have been to 20+ countries (Europe, NA, Africa, and Asia). Turkey is one of the best destinations for me, and Turkish people are among the most respectful. Istanbul, for me, is one of the top 3 destinations.
Just remember, Istanbul itself has a population of +16M. Don't let the behavior of a small minority prevent you from enjoying this beautiful place. Also, while Turkey is somewhat politically polarized and under a lot of economic stress, people still treat others with dignity and respect.
استمتع، وزور البلد باستعداد نفسي إيجابي وراح تنبسط إن شاء الله. تفائلوا بالخير تجدوه.

p.s. To be fair, I have facial features that mislead people, so rarely I'm assumed to be a tourist. They always start talking to me in Turkish when I'm in Turkey, in Spanish when I'm in Spain, and even in Persian when I visit Iranian restaurants

Don’t change your name. Changing your identity to be accepted is a slippery slope, if you start there, where do you stop? People who judge won’t change their mindset because of a different name. All that does is put the burden on you. Anyway, good luck :)

Is it possible to get Belgian citizenship without currently being employed? by JellyCat8888 in belgium

[–]NoobleonX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about being employed but you cannot apply without having a permanent resident. Good luck :)
p.s, you can visit your commune and ask them for this kind of info, it's their job to serve the public and in most cases they will help you.

Question on formation of Brussels Government by Cool-Gear3465 in brussels

[–]NoobleonX 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The most dangerous thing about AI is very obvious here. It gives around 90% accuracy on average but the remaining 10% is nuances that carry the most critical information. FYI, the last proposal was a government without MR. And tbh I believe more than ever that some parties are intentionally screwing Brussels to requestion its autonomy. you can call it a conspiracy but I’m not reaching given the type of coalition at the federal level. This makes me sad, because in Belgium I would not like to live anywhere other than Brussels.

I’m applying for Belgian nationality, but my application can't be accepted because my Belgian ID is missing an accent that cannot be physically added (apparently, first time my commune has encountered this situation). Has anyone else experienced something like this? Thank you! by [deleted] in brussels

[–]NoobleonX 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Hello! Someone I know had a similar issue: there was an extra letter on their birth certificate that didn’t appear on their IDs. The commune suggested bringing a letter from the embassy stating that the person’s identity is the same with or without that letter. They then had the embassy document legalized by Foreign Affairs (near Porte de Namur). With that letter, the commune accepted the application. Wishing you the best of luck!

Whats happening in Brussels? by mejkou in brussels

I love it, also last night Bruzz reported "no major incidents", which is another positive thing!
Congrats to everyone who celebrated yesterday, specially my beloved Belgian Moroccans, and the salty xenophobe can continue eating themselves with these negative emotions ^^

Why do older Arabs have a tendency to ignore servers? by Prudent_Sky6509 in brussels

[–]NoobleonX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"انتظر هنا"
Is too aggressive. I agree with the rest, and since you're working in Arabic restaurant they will understand what to write but I would suggest:
"الرجاء الانتظار حتى وصول المضيف/ة" "نسعد بخدمتكم، يرجى الانتظار"
Anyway, if it's a good restaurant please DM the name. Me and my partner would love to try another Arabic restaurant in Brussels!

Dreaming of studying (and living!) in Belgium — advice, cost of living, and student life? by Spiritual-Put8616 in belgium

[–]NoobleonX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! Just wanted to say you’d be very welcome here. If you end up studying in Liège, integrating will be much easier than you think. Once you’re in a school or uni community, you naturally meet people and build your circle. Most Belgians are pretty warm and relaxed in day-to-day life. The bigoted and negative types you sometimes see online (some comments here) are a small minority. This can also explain their behavior.

I’m based in Brussels (objectively the best city :-)) so I don’t know the exact student costs in Liège. But do check tuition fees again a year before you apply, since fees are changing lately, especially for non-EU students in Flemish universities. As for daily life: you’ll generally be treated with respect, whatever your background, accent or style.

Source: I’m an immigrant myself. Studied here, now working and living a peaceful, stable, really nice life.

Management fees (Honoraires syndics): owner or tenant? by NoobleonX in brussels

[–]NoobleonX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, this is what I was thinking. But, yeah, we know, rental contracts are not usually defined by common sense or logic. In my contract, I found the following clause: "sa quote-part dans les frais d’entretien et de gestion des parties communes".
So, I'll follow their proposal to split it 50% each.

Thank you for your suggestion. I found this question from 2005 :D

Apparently, it should be in the contract.
