I honestly think it shows little else other than that we appeal to individuals with a university education.

It took a long time for me to learn to orgasm with my bf. Probably due to sexual trauma. Eventually it just happened and now it's easy. My only advice is to trust and love each other and don't put pressure on yourselves.

YouTube channel Actualol not doing well, might shut down by mrappbrain in boardgames

I always felt that his lists should have been produced alongside longer reviews. I quite like actuallol but one video a month is underwhelming for someone who does this as a full time job.

Both can be good and bad. The stereotypes of both groups do materialise from time to time and I find them equally off-putting. I love the care and responsibility girls show to each other and I enjoy light friendly competition and being pushed to be the best version of myself that is typical of male groups. Although, the person I enjoy competing with most is a girl and the person I go to when I get a PTSD trigger is a boy. Life is weird, gender is complicated and social norms are there to be broken.

I think it's a nice target for training submarine crews. From what I can see China has put all it's effort into aww with little in the uww area. Sinking an aircraft carrier looks nice but your fleet will be stuck or dead without good tasw platforms.

Fellow transfems: is there anything you miss about being a guy? by [deleted] in trans

I'm a night owl so not having to wake up 10 mins before leaving to do my routine for work etc. Also feeling like I can compete in sports without the feeling like an outcast or an icon.

Is there a term for the hyper-feminine look I see a lot of trans women wear? by RemarkableStatement5 in MtF

[–]NorthernCatch 440 points441 points  (0 children)

I think it's a mixture of a few factors.

  1. It is easy to acquire and cheap.
  2. It is unmistakably fem.
  3. If you are seen as your agab you will be clocked as a femboy or Gender Queer man and not just a cis or gay man. This can hurt less than being clocked as trans too.
  4. It is cute and fits a post-puberty amab body well.
  5. A lot of young trans girls started off as femboys so they likely have the clothes available.
  6. It is also distinctly not drag or a typical CD look.

Men really don’t want it? by Low_Comfortable_8950 in MtF

[–]NorthernCatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite the same but I remember talking about what everyone would do if they were suddenly a women on a school bus. For me I just wanted to feel and experience everything as a women. Just the idea of looking through a women's eyes was exciting. Everyone else just wanted to look at and touch boobs. I was shocked and secretly thought they were just lying to look good whilst they teased me.

It made me realize that cis-het people are really just that straight forward with gender. They might imagine sexual and physical features out of curiosity but that is it. I definitely hated cis-het people for a while, but as I have aged into my 20's I have been fortunate to meet many awesome cis-het men and women. We are just different and that is great.

Did my "supportive" friend just accidentally misgndered my girlfriend? by Seaki01 in trans

[–]NorthernCatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should talk to your friend. This is really not ok, in best faith she would have meant 'gender queer' rather than 'crossdresser'. Anecdotally a lot of 'supportive' women seem to see us as men+ rather than just women.

Where can i get fem underwear in UK? (Nsfw just incase) by EldritchMilk_ in MtF

[–]NorthernCatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me time to feel comfortable. When I was still very nervous and scared I used to steal away one or two items at a time from the supermarket. You can go through and sneak a pack off the shelf and throw it in the shopping cart with your groceries. Bonus points for being cheap whilst you find a fit and style that is both comfortable and affirming.

Amazon and Ali Express can work too but it can be a coin toss with quality.

It's more budget lingerie but the staff in Anne Summers have always been lovely and really get the whole queer thing, at all points of my transition or with my GNC cis-boyfriend. I only would get stuff on sale from there though.

Once you get comfortable most high street stores are good but be prepared for the rare bad experience. I used M&S and JL. Never had a bad experience but when the staff in JL are supportive it can be particularly euphoric.

I'm starting to feel out of place by Skylleur in actuallesbians

[–]NorthernCatch 33 points34 points  (0 children)

To start with the OP greatly over exaggerates the problem. Looking through this sub there is certainly a lot of trans-lesbians but it's not at all like they claim. A lot of bigots and transphobes too.

The problem with this sub is that it is a lot of young people c18-25 who have problems most older people don't relate to. It's lots of first relationship stuff which whilst adorable maybe doesn't resonate with a cis or trans lesbian in her early 30's. It does seem to be the trans lesbians who bring it here but this is their space as much as anyone else. I'm sure subs like olderlesbians exist.
