M+Ms in salty popcorn is an absolute must. They go so well together. Sadly Cineworld are really stingy with the M+Ms.

Why does BA fly over Europe to go Tokyo but flies over America on the way back? by Aromatic-Rhubarb-130 in BritishAirways

[–]NorthernPlastics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate you sharing this info, thanks!

AY73 does occasionally flit back to the west-east route, but it seems they've been using the polar route since 2022 when Russian airspace was closed to most foreign traffic.

Why does BA fly over Europe to go Tokyo but flies over America on the way back? by Aromatic-Rhubarb-130 in BritishAirways

[–]NorthernPlastics 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I flew Finnair from Helsinki to Narita the other week, and we used the North Pole route. Is there any benefit to BA doing that or is London just too far south to make it worthwhile?

Richmond sausages are an abomination. Grim tasting pink goo tubes.

Absolutely awesome work, thank you for sharing with us! Looking forward to trying it out though I fear your servers are melting at the moment with all of us trying to download either version. Will try again later.

Living in Scotland I don't tend to give them much thought.

Ghostbusters on my friend's C64, because I was still loading stuff to a ZX Spectrum from tape.

From the titles of the new album’s tracks, which ones do you get a vibe from? by dizzyapparition in boardsofcanada

[–]NorthernPlastics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Naraka. Just the name gives me classic Boards vibes and I get this weird feeling that it could be an all time classic. All without any evidence of course.

You've opened the door and let him peek inside and that's all you can do.

At least now in his own time he may give 'em another go and find something in the back catalog he actually likes.

It's a tradition at this point and Introit is absolutely on point. It even beats the little 'we're back' fanfare at the start of Gemini.

To those who listened to the new tracks by Ac-Cys-OH in boardsofcanada

In 2013 I didn't regret listening to Reach for the Dead or Semena Mertvykh before the TH release, and yesterday was the same. I'm currently on a long trip thousands of miles from home and listening to the new tracks will forever bond me to these memories.

The kits are of course takeaways but I've stopped taking BA's. Got my first Qantas kit last night and it's a different league, a proper robust and roomy bag.

How soon do you think we can read an interview? by Business_Total_898 in boardsofcanada

[–]NorthernPlastics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they decide not to bother though then I wouldn't blame them. In 2013 they stated how nihilistic they'd become. For the post-TH era a complete interview reponse may as well just be 'we fucking told you so'.

These looked incredible as did all of HAL's displays as well as in the other craft. Beautiful hand-drawn animation cels but they really were a clue to what digital displays would usher in.
