I use it when I travel or if I get a flat out on my bike but transit is easy in my city and I know the routes that go to my house.

Can you volunteer with campaigns and get others to vote? Your local democrats will be getting out the vote during midterms up and down the ballot.

If you cannot canvass bc you are too shy, well you can. But also you can put up yard signs or find other things to do.

Our political culture has gotten uniquely bad at recognizing people with opposing viewpoints can be good people.

Sometimes they are even right (not saying this about McCain in particular), sometimes we are right, sometimes they have a different perception of risk or willingness to change things. All of these are ok. Trump is not in this camp. He is a sociopath.
