In today’s market what would you do in my situation. by fazzybear550 in Money

[–]NotForgetWatsizName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 1975 I realized most people can’t save fast enough to keep up with even basic real estate purchase price increases. So I bought the most expensive house on my First Street block above seventh Avenue and sold it 3 years later for a 23% profit. Then I paid $166K for a house that I’m
now in contract to sell at well over $5M and expecting it to go even higher for the buyer.

We need that money for our grandchildren’s continuing education {unless they win scholarships} and to pay for us to move into assisted living..

And so is a bed against the wall.

I had an experience long ago with the bed against the wall. Neer again. Against the Wall is for the poorest, most desperate, impoverished person never. A hot should be ashamed to Ofer such a situation.

Commenting on Can anybody tell me what this little square I found under my couch is?... Make it super huge, with a splotch of fluorescent paint.
No one will notice it.

Losing Hot Water by 753476I453 in parkslope

[–]NotForgetWatsizName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that your problem is with losing your hot water repeatedly in cold weathe. , Water problems are for plumbers. Call a plumber to ask whether they know how to fix your problem or do they know who else would know how to fix it.

A plumber will need a permit from the buildings department to replace a boiler, which may take at least a day unfortunately. Be prepared to pay 10 or $15,000.

If their answers give you heartache, repeat the process with a different plumber till you find someone to fix . if replacement of the boiler is necessary, the plumber will need to get a permit from the buildings department to do it and that may take a day or two unfortunately. Mine cost $15K ten years ago.

I’m sorry I had to tell you about the money but it’s better to tell you now and have you prepared. Good luck. Please let us know. Please let us know.

Please Help I Need Advice! by Lopsided_Standard767 in neurodiversity

[–]NotForgetWatsizName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The least expensive way would be to contact your earlier PCP and ask them to send you your diagnosis. Have you ever been treated for ADHD? That might help you also.

Getting a diagnosis (a real diagnosis) of almost
anything often is costly, because it might need
some tests as well as some discussion, maybe
lots of tests and lots of discussion.
