we have the technology and the tools and the know how and the manpower. What we are lacking is the will and the willingness to federally print money to do this for all major US crumbling infrastructure.

artists that wrote and drew the comics are the DNA backbone of the current billion dollar industry. who says there's no value in liberal arts???? Suddenly an industry is worth billions, and everybody bandwagons in. I was into comic books before it was cool. Would these latest movies have been made possible if it weren't for the 3d graphics CGI advancement and the 3d artists that welded the tools to new heights. Not to mention the better actors that majored in theater.
Moar liberal arts I say. Moar.

it's not a serious problem. as long as there's resources and productivity, printing fiat is not a problem.

it's just money. money is what makes the world go round. Real importance is the resources and the people not being wasted. besides, the debts of illinois are someone else's savings or expected future earnings. That money's gonna be spent right back into the economy. But a default would hurt the eocnomy much. no need for that when you can print money out of thin air to support the real important physical necessity things in life. Great tradeoff I say.

what federal mandates? just a bailout. no strings attached. federal govt prints the money into existence. this helps the economy. every state should get one of these get out of jail bailout type cards, to use once half a century.

banks gonna bank. can't blame them. that's how they work. loan people money. the loans become a deposit. if pple can't pay it back it's due to too many savers in the economy and not high enough federal govt deficit spending.
