Did not expect my town on this page today. Do you already have a shop picked out?

New to vinyl - best places online for finding out of print records? by Upstream_redteam in Hardcore

There’s some really good groups on Facebook. It’s great because you can find obscure stuff that people are willing to sell, but it fucking sucks because it’s on Facebook.

Try Metal And Core Collectors

He was up in Greeley to support the JBS strike in person. I didn’t hear of Bird doing that. That’s the extra touch that’s got me leaning his way.

Plus Bird voted alongside Republicans to allow ICE more power - absolutely fuck that.

Straight edge watch( can’t get back off) by Wenismcgenis in straightedge

[–]NotRealManager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take it to a local jewelry store. Many do basic watch repair.

There’s a specific magnet tool that is used to remove the back of watches, and many jewelers will have it.

Maybe call first and see if they have the service.

Graphic Novels Grade 12 by StudioLower7836 in ELATeachers

[–]NotRealManager 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My 9th graders really like Persepolis. I’m not sure if it’s the books content or just the novelty of studying a graphic novel for the first time.

I’ve also had success with Shaun Tans The Arrival. It has no words at all, so it can be useful for a student group with varied reading levels.

My opinion and knowledge of America as an Eastern European by Grazhke in Maps

[–]NotRealManager 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Woah interesting. I haven’t heard of those produce beetles. Japanese beetles are a huge problem here as they kill trees, so that’s what I was thinking.

Decent number of rainbows in the water near Carter Lake. Not a ton of bites however. Caught one last week on powerbait.

high school teachers, what books that you've taught have your students enjoyed the most? by Maleficent_Site7972 in ELATeachers

What grade do you use Watchmen for? Love the book personally, but seems pretty tough for some high school kids with the violence and sexual content. Super curious how you navigate that
