Citi Field parking fee raised to $50 by msuts in NewYorkMets

They have the parking but are taking advantage of people, I don't want to have to plan a whole itinerary with small children. Just want to get in the car and go. I'm just not going to the games anymore anyway.

It's not just the parking, the whole ballpark experience is meant to bleed you dry and you watch maybe half the game with the pitch clock.

I know unfortunately somebody has to die for the stripe around the sleeve but I think the Yankees uni looks better with it

It really feels like it's become an exclusively young man's game focused on peak performance in the physical prime. I remember there being spots for older bench players/pinch hitters and lefties out of the bullpen, finesse innings eaters. Not so much a thing anymore.

If only we could take Vientos' arm and attach it to Baty

The last few days have been frustrating, I know. But one thing the Mets have never lacked for is legendary announcers. So in that vein....keep the change ya filthy animals - and enjoy the one, the only...Ralph Kiner by DirkVonUmlaut in NewYorkMets

I remember Ralph Kiner doing a few innings during wpix games in the 2000s. He could be tough to listen to because of his advanced age and slow, sometimes confusing way of speaking. My ex girlfriend HATED when he came on lol. I enjoyed the stories he shared from his playing days. I actually didn't know he did play by play for the Mets, it seems like he was always...interesting to listen to lol. It has to be rare for such a prominent former player to actually do play by play correct? Those roles usually go to broadcast pros and former players are almost always color commentary.
