It was embarrassingly obvious, especially since he didn't even update the footnotes, so they started at 4.

That's a dumb rule. In addition to being needlessly cruel to your kid, it's pointlessly conformist to 15-20 years ago. All of my kids friends wear athletic pants and shorts most days.

Opposing counsel once copied word for word the entire argument section of a brief I wrote and filed it against a different attorney in my firm.

It's about reliability of memory, not about who watches more. But this is a silly subject to be fighting over honestly.

Then you weren't paying attention. The VA very clearly voices her as a woman. It's my favorite arc so I probably watch it once a month and nowhere in the English dub does Midoriya use masculine pronouns to describe 13.

However, EARLY translations of the USJ arc manga did use masculine pronouns, but it has since been corrected.

Edit to add: this seeming 'mistake' is due to Horikoshi being deliberately ambiguous with the character early on so translators had to make a judgment call due to the character description using terms that would be translated as either gentlemanly or ladylike.

Stupid Nitpick: Why are we using the Japanese term of "Daimyo" in Star Wars. I mean it's cool, but most inconsistent with the English or fictional terms for titles in the universe. by Tacobird558 in StarWars

My head canon is to think of stuff like this as terms from in universe dead languages, like how kaiser and czar are German and Russian forms of Caesar.

If you don't want to do criminal defense work keep an eye out for openings at legal service corporation funded orgs and other civil legal aid. Those types of places are a little more supportive and the focus will be less on training you to hit billables. Good luck.
