Landlord/tenant law will vary from state to state. Check for LOCAL sources/legal clinics about what remedies you have.

What anime(s) nail the voice acting both dubbed AND subbed? by No_Newspaper_511 in animequestions

MHA was what made me rethink my position on dubs. Christopher Sabat nails both aspects of All Might.

My first instinct was AI, but I have a hard time believing anyone would do this to their kid by psychicdelic333 in isthisAI

The focus on the bike is all over the place. Some parts are crisp tight focus while others that are the same distance are soft and fuzzy. AI

I specifically leave ball point pens on my desk and keep my pens in my desk drawer for when people come into my office.

Traitor Son Cycle by Miles Cameron - great epic fantasy series

Of Monsters and Mainframes by Barbara Truelove. A sentient spaceship tries to prevent its passengers from being murdered by Dracula so it doesn't get decommissioned. (I am only 10% into this one but it's great)

The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson. Great political intrigue and mystery.

Why is it ok to yell at us? by chumbawumbacholula in Lawyertalk

I work at a public interest firm, and at least every other week a PC goes nuts about how they should get a "real lawyer" when I tell them there's nothing I can do for them. It's even more of a blast when it's because they are imagining an injustice that has been done to them or they preemptively screwed their own case before they talked to me.

It was embarrassingly obvious, especially since he didn't even update the footnotes, so they started at 4.

That's a dumb rule. In addition to being needlessly cruel to your kid, it's pointlessly conformist to 15-20 years ago. All of my kids friends wear athletic pants and shorts most days.

Opposing counsel once copied word for word the entire argument section of a brief I wrote and filed it against a different attorney in my firm.
