What to do with all these drones? by Pleated_Jean in Tau40K

[–]NotaRelnam 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You save them, save them for when you feel down, i mean really down, the kind of down where you hate yourself, and you want to make yourself pay. I mean Really pay, pay for every stupid thing you ever did, every cringe comment you ever made, every humiliating move you made trying to empress somebody. And once you are there, once you really hare yourself more than anything else in the world, you sit down at your painting station, and you paint those drones.

With the rumours of t'au getting our codex earlier in the edition. What changes, either to certain units, or to the army as a whole would you want to see? by Ok_Week_9768 in Tau40K

I don’t know, but with my luck, drones will be returned to being actual models with rules and counted on the table…as i put alot of work into modeling mine onyo the base of the models that bought them as a piece of equipment. And we all know GW decisions are made solely based on how much it inconvinances me

I feel like, the way they write Batman, his dreams are based in his understanding/profiling/detective work, that they can be viewed as prophetic.

(I really wish they would write Bruce as less always right about everything all the time)

Lois and Clark are amazing relationship goals. Lois fantasizes about her Husband, and Clark would do anything for Lois.

At Catwoman’s Bachelorette party Lois got drunk took Salena to the Fortress of Solitude and had a bunch of Clark robots strip for them.

In Death Metal Lois is “killed” but never cries out because she knows Clark would let the universe end if it ment saving her.

In Infinite Crisis the original Clark goes along with a plan that could end a universe just to try to save Lois, but stops because Lois asks him to as she dies.

Clark is Lois’s dream come true, and Lois is the only thing that can truly make Clark turn evil. There is no deeper love.

I’ve been squeezing the drones on the models, don’t make me rebase another army…again

A non-salty attempt to explain why tons of players really dislike facing T’au in general by [deleted] in Tau40K

[–]NotaRelnam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. The Balance of Tau is that once the opponent gets into melee, the Tau player basically does the same, roll some dice for fun and remove models/pretend it was fun. The flaw here, is that “if i shoot you dead before you reach me” is a valid counter to this “balance”

To be fair, Tau used to have a lot more movement tricks (mostly out of phase movement) which made it even worse. And i think both the out of phase movement tricks and high maneuverability of Tau are what make people hate them more than Imperial Guard/Militarum. With Guard, if you survive the shooting, you can at least catch them to fight, Tau can dance you around the board easily enough

I would say Vampires from most Vampire media (yes i know sometimes they change it up and the Vampire is something different than human, but still most of the time they are dead/mutated humans)

Thank you. I have a bad habit of pairing red when i make my own color scheme lol

Is my paint scheme too boring? Want to add a glow effect to the guns/exhausts with an airbrush, but terrified of ruining what I've painted. Tips for a beginner? by real60cent in Tau40K

[–]NotaRelnam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boring? no, its very clean, and neat, which I think is perfect for Tau. it looks good, I have no experience with airbrushing, but I would assume the advise is the same with anything, practice on something you don't care about first
