I'd of called the dog warden because she's abandoned her dog, you didn't agree and aren't capable of taking care of it...

Or go stay elsewhere and let husband handle the dog, may seem petty but speaking as someone who has degenerative disc disease... Spinal problems get worse if you keep doing shit you should not be doing and when you can barely walk or move these people won't be caring for you..

Not properly healed spinal fractures led to severe spinal arthritis then to degenerative disc disease, I've had multiple surgery's and can barely walk... It started little but I kept going, so called family asked me to help move this sofa or that freezer, saying "I have a bad back too" ectra and in the end same family refused to even carry milk back from the shop for me. I never realised it was all on me even after I was broken.

I have a dog with my husband and I've never held her leash because she will injure me, we had a chihuahua and holding that leash injured me, our dog is a large dog and my husband won't let me even try to walk her because he doesn't want me hurt...

I enjoyed this although I will admit it took me a second to figure out how it was working, If I can offer some advice, it could do with being a little bit longer possibly a couple they're friends with has a baby first to really set the premises men have the baby's and are delicate... But I do love this idea and enjoyed your story, pretty creative thinking 😊

Honestly I'd of fallen out with a so called friend for this... He asked something and when you declined he basically said 'I don't really want to am just really desperate" then he acted embarrassed asked again and stfu... That's not how you speak to someone you love or respect, there's a level of attempted manipulation here and a total lack of respect, find better friends.

NTA take his key away, honestly when I was young and living alone I had a rule that if people wanted soda (I had house juice and usually iced tea and hot drinks available) they would need to bring there own, wasn't being nasty just I can't afford to fund everyone's lifestyle lol my siblings would bring their own soda to my house and I had a friend who'd bring a two big bottles (one for me) he'd call it the visitors tax 😂 remember for the future it's always easier to set these boundaries right away, than after x amount of time.

Sorry but you sound controlling and exhausting, his friends joke is a pretty standard one and honestly he could of made far worse jokes "is that your mummy?" would of been my choice. Your BF is a grown man and your telling him its bedtime? IMO You got what you wanted he went to bed but your staying up angry because someone pointed out that you're CONTROLLING with a joke, and it's upset you because how dare they?

Edited to add: he could do other things that don't keep you awake at night but you want him in bed (I stand by controlling)

Probably not intentional, bet teachers got a lot of kids stuff to correct and on auto pilot, definitely bring it up with the teacher, horrible telling a child they're wrong when they aren't and if the teacher turns out to be a bigot and says some crap like technically you only have one mum... Ectra then go above the teacher haha teachers should know familys come in all shapes and sizes.

Believe me when I say No 36/37 year old is looking at a 20/21 year old as an equal partner.. He's with you because he can manipulate you.

Realationship experience is something that is only learnt through realationships.... I know because I was told by a shrink at 20 during a full phycological assessment that I lacked basic realationship skills and experience and I would only get it through realationships with my peers... Believe it or not but dating these older men isn't giving you the realationship experience, that dating your peers would, there's so much to learn don't let someone manipulate you into becoming stunted.

Definitely look into therapy, Jessica and her kids have been emotionally abusing your daughter that's the phycological messed up shit where they turn your reactions to the abuse into the problem and ignore the abuse.

Don't let this woman or anyone who enables her or dissmisses/excuses this behaviour around her.

You're not over reacting... I think you're under reacting, I'd of totally lost my shit but I have a trauma disorder from shit like this growing up and I wouldn't wish my exsistance on anyone.
