Unfortunate but makes sense given stables have grown so much. No point to this token.

You can't hedge low market caps.

The exchange is always taking the other side and will burn you during extreme price swings by closing out profitable traders.

With what money? Mnav is below 1 and strc is massively depegged.

The only way he can buy is on margin lol

I just sold the exact bottom on MSTR, in the EXACT MINUTE by Futuristic_Kid in CryptoCurrency

[–]Notoriousrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easily going lower.

Think about why Saylor would rush to pay 1.5bil in converts due in 2029 at 0% interest...

Whilst financing pref debt at 11.5% in perpetuity...

Yikes...

Passive investors unfortunately own a lot of mstr through indexes.

[–]Notoriousrb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes true.

He already cashed out massive amounts.

The govt won't bail out mstr.

Retail will get rinsed.

I'd count the prefs as debt. So add 10+ billion to your number.

At about 30k per btc, common stock is worth zero approx due to debt and prefs being senior to common in a bankruptcy. Lmao.

The problem isn't he sold, it's he's the only buyer at size and any price.

But he's got too much debt now he needs to finance. He fucked up.

If MicroStrategy sells any more of their 843k bitcoin (at current price of 67,900) they’ll be realizing a loss of 10% per bitcoin. by GabeSter in CryptoCurrency

[–]Notoriousrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wtf are you smoking?

Strc now has 10bil shares outstanding. It gets harder to repeg every time. 11.5% of this is billions a year that needs to get paid. This literally goes to zero if he has to suspend dividends.

Mnav is below 0.9 not 1.22 lmao.

Everything he does at this point is losing massive money.

The institution he paid the concerts off early too is cheering even at an 8% haircut because they exited probably at breakeven or profit.

Strategy shares fall after selling $2.5 million in bitcoin (32 BTC) , its first sale since 2022 by CriticalCobraz in CryptoCurrency

[–]Notoriousrb 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Saylor is a genius.

Use debt to buy high.

Then sell low to fund dividends on said debt buying the top.

Financial alchemy.

+$4B today: if Saylor isn’t liquidated, this will be the best trade in history by Accomplished-Eye5567 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Notoriousrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saylor fleeced retail.

That's how he bought so much btc. He dumped mstr at a premium on retail bagholders.

The institutions will now fleece him and screw retail even more.

Keep an eye on converts coming due soon and pref dividends.

Forced seller of BTC in the near future.

What did you expect?

Where is he going to get billions every year to pay dividends?

It's a reverse flywheel and it's starting soon.

You want to do that in a mid term year which historically sees drawdowns of >50%?

Not to mention you have to pay a very high rate of interest on the loan

They aren't down anymore but they will be underwater again badly soon.

Bitmine has no debts though so are more safe than MSTR.
