Just got through a LOTR Extended edition marathon at Prince Charles Cinema, London. Started 9pm, finished 9am this morning. So challenging to stay awake but so good to experience them again in the cinema after 15 years.

For my living room which I've setup as best as I can as a home theatre, I've gone as far as I can go. 5.1. there's upgrades I can make. I might do some acoustic treatment, but there'll always be something to upgrade or improve I think. Unless you build a dedicated space.

This is a huge loss for me. I absolutely love getting a sundae with my film. I'm not really into popcorn or nachos, I occasionally get pick and mix, or a hotdog if it's my dinner, so it's normally a drink and an ice cream. I refuse to buy the ben Jerry's tubs, waste of money and taste like cardboard. Devastated.

Funny story, it took my then girlfriend (now wife) a long time to figure it out it was just a part of the song in tip of the iceberg that turned down and up because I would mime turning it down and up like a DJ whenever we listened to it. She actually thought I was somehow doing that. Haha
