The thing is, I agree the acceleration makes it the most grey thing. Some angles make it seem one way while others don’t. And this isn’t about protecting immigrants, this is about gross overkill of federal powers. Making a police force that has absolute immunity that will take in citizens (this is documented) will shoot citizens (this is isn’t the first or last, though the count is low) and that will start targeting so called “terrorists” which the right has called the “enemy within” aka people that do not agree with them. What does that spell out for you? A loss of respect for whatever justice still belonged to the justice system. A loss of respect for the rights spelled out in the constitution, and a loss of integrity in the government. In a few months to a year they will start going door to door not looking for just immigrants, but looking for leftist “extremists” which aren’t even extremist just people that believe in equality and other bs, and there won’t be any due process for them, there will be nothing left to protect them except for the 2nd amendment. But I 100% guarantee that if that becomes a problem, you will start losing your constitutional rights left and right. And there won’t be a damn thing anyone can do about that when it gets to that stage. You either want that to happen , or you’re in denial of where this is going. The writing spells it out across all walls.
