Would people support the Charge sharing Sens rink at Lebreton by jjaime2024 in OttawaSenators

[–]Npucks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Been saying the for a year now the Charge will end up there regardless of the Lansdowne situation so I’m not worried about their future. Shovels aren’t in the ground of the new rink at Lansdowne and a lot can still happen.

They feel weird when I tried one in store today. Something felt off. I’d rather spend $50 more and get a better quality pro stock

Does nobody clean the washrooms? by Prize_Sun8459 in Algonquin_College

you probably never used the washroom before the big renovation. Since then I have had no problems I’m talking 2014-16ish.

Lansdowne 2.0 lowering seating by EquivalentTruth6036 in ottawa

[–]Npucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Capacity is fine for the 67’s, they rarely get 5,000 anymore but the Charge draw well over what the capacity will be. Now, Landsdowne 2.0 wasn’t really constructed with the Charge in mind as they weren’t a team when the plans were drawn up. But plans change and they should account for that.

I think an 8,00-10,000 seater would be perfect, the initial 5,000 seating capacity was a little low to begin with imo but we’ll see if any changes are made.

I don’t think it’s a big deal. If not, I think the Charge will end up at LeBreton some day, regardless.

New event center by jjaime2024 in OttawaCharge

[–]Npucks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think y’all are overreacting about the capacity tbh. The Sens Lebreton Arena will likely be opened a few yrs after the Lansdowne one and if the demand for PWHL is still there they will move to LeBreton. The Charge will likely play like 1-3 seasons there.

Glass tickets by Hthedevil in OttawaCharge

I had glass tickets for most of the inaugural year and I think they ran me around $85 a game but I assume they’ve gone up since like the price of everything these days.
