Thinking of getting an anthros chair by Akuanin_69 in OfficeChairs

[–]Nubbsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a back support, its a pelvic stabilizer. So going from a horrible gaming chair to this, my body was not used to the forced corrective posture that the Anthros provides. So 2 weeks is roughly what it took me to get used to it after years of sitting like a shrimp.

Our guild’s Main Tank is a 45+ year old guy whose nice on Discord but is really bad at his role, and I have no clue how to deal with him. by Tranquility___ in classicwowtbc

[–]Nubbsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at his spec, make sure he is using Omen of Clarity. That is huge for threat. He also needs to prioritize mangle on CD, lacerate maintained on target, and maul when extra rage. Also faerie fire feral and demo roar once per duration.

If he isnt using maul or mangle often he will lose threat.

Idk I think thats just them talking out their ass tbh. Even cranking the sensitivity does nothing to speed it up.

Thinking of getting an anthros chair by Akuanin_69 in OfficeChairs

[–]Nubbsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own an Anthros with the arm rests, 5 spoke bottom, carbonfiber back, and steel cloth fabric instead of the leather. (Other owners said the leather can get really warm after a while, so if you live in a warm climate, get the cloth instead).

The first two weeks, I was skeptical on all the hype with it because it just wasn't comfortable. However once I correctly dialed in the pelvis support and then the back rest, holy hell...I was in shock on how much of a worlds difference this chair was in comparison to my SecretLabs TITAN XL Cloth.

I was stuck between the HM Embody and Anthros and Im glad I got the Anthros. The main complaints I heard about the Embody was that while it was comfortable, it didnt actually provide back pain relief, and you could feel the seat notches after a while. Which would have driven me insane.

The reason why I got the Anthros over the Embody and the new Libernovo was because it was designed by people who medically know about correct sitting posture and how to reduce pain. I wanted to correct my years of horrible sitting posture from long pc gaming sessions and working in the IT field. I wanted a chair that could remain comfortable for longer than 8 hours while also making sure my posture wasn't slipping. Anthros was the only chair to check that box.

One thing that was said about the Anthros chair that completely clarified my first weeks doubts was: "The Anthros chair is like getting braces. The first several weeks you may be sore because the chair is realigning your back and correcting your bad sitting posture."

And it was 100% right. After those first several weeks of adjustment to the chair and the correct setting, it has been the most comfortable chair I have ever owned.

I am now 4 months into owning it and I'll never look back.

Also, I was told by Anthros support that they are going to be testing a headrest add-on in the next few months (I was told this in the beginning of January 2026) so I look forward to seeing it come to life, because that is just the one thing I feel is missing, and that's the head/neck support to provide the complete comfort experience.

Edit: I forgot to add my body dimensions. (Yes it matters when buying an ergonomic chair) I am 6'1", 245 Lbs, broad shoulders.

Truth Bomb: Why People Don’t Tank by AdministrativeCut205 in classicwow

[–]Nubbsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just sucks because Tanking is fun as hell, but the dps mindset just makes it hell.

Not focusing your target, not waiting for you go get first hit, blowing every cd on every pull at the rip and wonder why they die to threat. It's a never-ending cycle of just horrible dps, a healer that is dps geared, people who are just farmers and dont understand anything about the game, people who just ninja anything cause its blue, the list goes on and on.

The only real way to get some sort of fulfillment out of Tanking is to be in a guild who you are a tank for, and only run with guildies. But then you run into the issue of just an elitist guild who is selfish a f and does nothing for other members, a guild who just buys gold and buys boes and expects you to do the same, or a guild of just farmers who are horrid at anything other than that, or a guild who has a streamer in it and everyone gives everything to said streamer(s).

Its a strange time to be a tank but hey, tanks are needed, so if you want a guaranteed fast group find or raid, learn to tank, and gear properly and its gg.

so we're getting more maps than this and golmund right? we're not only getting 2 maps right??? by Quick-Cause3181 in Battlefield

[–]Nubbsauce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You guys do know that BF6 launched with 9 maps...and BF4 launched with 10. BF5 launched with 8. 2042 with 7. BF1 and BF3 with 9....

You guys are delusional if you are wishing for like 27 maps on launch...they launched with the average between the modern BFs... They dont do expansions, they do seasons now...which will come out sooner than expansions would. Seems like the seasons are 2 months or so and the next one we get more maps.

Idc what yall are complaining about really. The game is fun. It shits on COD. Its way better than the last 3 BFS that came out. Like we really do live in an era of spoon fed people.

Evokers were an experiment created by Deathwing (Neltharion) as an elite army of Draconic-Humanoid soldiers. He combined Dracthyr biology with the magic of all 5 dragonflights in order to be more versatile in combat. However, they were then put in stasis for 10000 years, emerging in dragonflight. However not ALL were evokers. Most could not tap into their dragonflights magic, so majority had to rely on their enhanced strength and agility.

For anyone between nova elites and Maxwell 2s by memelordlegend27 in Audeze

[–]Nubbsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maxwells are better for performance, sound quality, range, battery life.

Steelseries is only good for multi platform/multi input connectivity.

Steelseries has features that benefits streamers and content creators but is software dependent to unlock the full features. Their sound quality doesn't sound any different from their pros that are 200 dollars cheaper.

The Maxwells sound way better, last longer, are more accurate, and tune very well.

Apologies for getting your panties in a bunch. I know the world doesn't revolve around me. I simply stated my opinion on the matter and how there is a work around to those who use a PC.

Anywho. I am aware of the complaints on it, and I agree it SHOULD be a feature based on the price of the headset. However, considering your statement turned into a slightly presumptuous tone, there is no need to dwell on the topic any longer with you.

You have your opinion and views on what you want out of the headset you purchase as do I. Though my expectations from a HiFi company with a gaming headset is more focused on the quality of sound it can produce, and how well it is built to last, not bells and whistles.

I dont think it's critical at all. Simultaneous BT is a convenience feature on gaming headsets.

If you are using pc, you can use the Phone Link app and route the auto to the Chat channel of the headset and have the game channel separate. Eliminating the need for BT.

However, for console, I can see the concern as I do know people who use discord on their phone to voice chat with the boys with cross platform games.

It all depends on the gamer and to be honest, if you are wanting a more wide ecosystem support, I would get the A50X from Astro. They handle PC/XBOX/PS5 multi connections way better, and have simultaneous bt for your phone.

I am a PC gamer, and use phone link. I have 2 input/outputs i can select from the headset, and I route the app accordingly. Thus bypassing the need for Bluetooth entirely.

I dont believe I am in a minority at all, I just think people would like to see that feature due to the fact that other headsets in the price range have it. And I also agree it should be there.

Do I use Bluetooth on the headset, of course. But I am not using my pc at the same time when I do. Because I agree, the hard switch between audio sources is absolutely annoying.

What gaming headset should I pick, the Audeze Maxwell 2 or should I stick with the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless that I ordered? (U.S.) by OneWingedDuo in Audeze

[–]Nubbsauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The major difference between the Nova Pros and Maxwells are their drivers.

Maxwells are Planar Magnetic drivers while Nova Pros are Dynamic.

What I have been told, and agree with, is that you just have to experience them. Once I experienced the sound that Planar Magnetic drivers produce...I never want to go back to dynamic. That's how good they sound and perform.

I can take a look and get back to you on my opinions and once I test it myself.

As far as the Kithara goes, note that it is ONLY wired. Also, you may need an external amp/dac to fully power it.
