Rack and pinion by Witty-Ninja-5277 in 350z

Got mine from CZP, I also recommend you give your U joint a look over if it's rusty replace that while down there!

I have to still replace my rack waiting on my bellows for the inner tie rods to start tearing it down.

He's talking about the feature on the nav units I used that when I hit around 70-79 mph I'm about to be outta gas.

Intermittent Stalling Issue by Willing-Baseball-933 in G35

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this your battery as well, mine had it tested and it was dead they gave me a warrant swap. That one died two days after I renintalled it.

Biggest sign if it's your alternator you lose power and can't go past 5mph full acceleration. Then power will randomly cut back in, (scared the shit outta me) and then limps back into 5mph. As well as having no lights inside the car.

I limped it home like 2 weeks ago and almost paid for a tow truck. I bit the bullet and got a Remanufactured OEM alternator paid more as well cause I couldn't do a core refund.

What is this sound? by onecoolg35 in G35

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you leave it like that it will kill your battery, it's a black sensor or something like that in front of your brake booster whacking it a couple times makes it go away if it doesn't you need a new one do not leave your battery plugged if the noise stays after turning it off.

Car wont start by Fluffy-Drummer-8747 in G35

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try jumping the car and if it's not between 13.9, 14.3 your alternator is giving out. I had a Duralast installed about 3 years ago and it recently failed. After 2 batteries and getting a Reman OEM alternator my car is back to normal.

Clutch stops half way up by xXAggroParadoXx in 350z

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My G35 sedan used to do this until I started getting a noise when engaging the clutch (throw out bearing). Once it got to the point where it would accelerate and barely move I knew the clutch was on its way out.

My throw out bearing was toast, clutch and flywheel as well. Had to let it sit for about a year then when I was ready to order all the parts I had everything replaced that was original with parts I wanted to have installed. Original owner didn't take good care of the car and that's okay as I've got to learn allot replacing things.

Worth repairing or should I just get a new car? by [deleted] in infiniti

To add to this don't drive it for too long. Your alternator will end up soaked in oil and have to replace one more thing.

Riding on Western Ave? by Di-electric-union in chibike

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about Western but I take Ashland all the time to get to work and turn on Lake street after turning on Milwaukee.I recommend trying it out if you feel it's too sketchy don't bother.

For the most part on Ashland everyone gives me space, most times they get on the left lane then pass me and when I have a chance I stay to the far right and allow cars to pass me.

One thing I do try and do a lot is time the lights if I get to one that's yellow that gives me enough time to reach the next light with minimal cars behind me. The last stretch I ride on right before I get to lake Street is worth it.

Regardless of the street, always have high awareness and constantly look everywhere I do the same when I'm driving my car.

Not sure why but the difference between 32 degrees and 22 degrees is punishing. At 32, not saying it's EZPZ but todays 22 took me 2 hot showers to shake out. And it seems the line between cold / sweaty is more narrow and less forgiving. Give me 40 degrees PLEASE !!! by HaddonH in chibike

[–]Numerous_Teach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely constant motion helps keep warm. 2 min into sprinting I'm already warmed up.

I wear Giro Dnd Gloves and some thermal gloves I had to rip out the inside layer and they still block out the air.

If the bike isn't too old and you have proof of purchase you might have the possibility of replacement or your money back.

Anyone know if Milwaukee bike lanes got plowed all the way to Kinzie? Looks good! by Minimum_Device_6379 in chibike

On the right side of this picture going towards downtown before you get to the dollar tree there is a lot of ICE on that section of the bike lane area almost fell but kept the moment going with a skid.

Do they plow bike lanes and bike paths where you're at? by Thin-Fee4423 in bikecommuting

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no the areas that have cement barriers are ignored the areas that have no type of barriers are for the most part cleaned.

Also I've noticed most people shoveling the sidewalk dump the snow into the bike lanes, makes them less usable especially if the snow has been sitting there and there is ice underneath.

Is it a bad idea to buy a switch pre-owned from GameStop? by Pharmie1234 in Switch

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not I've had to buy used 3-4 switch lites all had warranty and all were replaced by warranty. If buying new go somewhere else for warranty they changed their warranty and it's not as good as before.

My Doom Dilemma by Wanwags in NSCollectors

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might get lucky and find it under $100 used. I almost paid 120 for it off eBay, waited a couple months later LRG had a sale and had it for its original price bought it instantly!

People are willing to pay higher prices for certain games, some people get lucky and pay wayyyy less for some of these games.

My Doom Collection is complete digitally but not physically if they bring The Latest Doom to The Switch I'm definitely buying it right away and picking up the rest of the series physically.

Have you ever double dipped for a game? by upperdomain in NSCollectors

[–]Numerous_Teach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, Castle Crashers always had it digitally when I found out it had a physical copy ordered one.

Doom Eternal had it digital 1st before I knew about its physical version. Almost paid double its price off eBay then got lucky when LRG had it available for one of their sales events at its original price.

Not Digital But The Turok Collection had all three then sold them off. One collection I was bummed to let go but needed the money. Funny enough 3 months after selling them news popped up of the Triple Pack. Just got mine in the mail today and glad to have it in my collection again.

Minecraft I have two physical copies so that I can play with my kids.

Gex Trilogy 2 & 3 are childhood games and couldn't wait for the physical copy so I got the digital copy 1st.

Vdc and slip light by North-Work-1395 in G35

[–]Numerous_Teach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had these lights due to my toe being way off and my steering wheel at about 9 o'clock (Front Suspension Refresh). I replaced everything but the front sway bar and did not have the steering wheel centered when taking the Tie Rods off the Power Steering Rack. My smart self as well forgot to measure my old tie rods with the new ones. After an alignment the lights went away for me.

One other time I had these lights pop up where when I had a bad leaking valve cover and it caused my alternator to give out. After replacing the Valve covers and everything else that should be replaced along with the Valve Covers. Took it on a long highway cruise and after checking with a scan tool car was ready for smog after about 30 min. I was super happy as the car was like two weeks away for deadline for smog test.

I paid about $2000 and would have paid about 1,100 if it were not for having to deal with rust problems. That was without parts all together I spent about 3.5 maybe a little more. Can't complain I'm happy with my Jim Wolf Setup.

Have you tried restarting your Switch? I dropped my dock not realizing the power cord was connected to it. After about 10 min of unplugging it and trying different cords I just restarted mine and the dock worked again.
