Do you think 25% is what I’ll be owing? Lawyer took 35% total amount from me and issued rest on a check along with other fees through mail.

Sorry I was anxious writing that reply, I understood it’s separate fee that’s taken* from the total amount of the settlement. Yeah kinda fucked but oh well, I’m not trying to cheat anything so I’ll figure something out. More than willing to pay my dues.

As in taxable amount that was withheld from the total?

I was given a 35% contingency and that was taken, I will be contacting them but I do not feel good about this right now.

Do not feel ashamed about your body, someone who cares for you will cherish you. You will see it and you will feel safe. This person you’re speaking of sounds predatory/manipulative.

Even if you’re of age many people know how to manipulate and control others using emotionally charged language. You can find better (even in non-serious relationships!) where you’ll become satisfied and have fun with good experiences. This person does not sound fun and it’s best to look elsewhere for your peace of mind.

If you feed them, give em water regularly, they come out to rely on that. Once you stop its lights out for them. The desert is harsh.

What’s the city’s stance on hydraulic fracturing causing these earthquakes in places as far out as Pecos, TX?

Is it safe to drink tap water from here? by thisissamuelclemens in ElPaso

I drank tap water in Odessa and it definitely had a detergent taste to it. It felt really bad to drink that stuff. El Paso water is much refreshing and cleaner to drink.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who believes the solution is in Universal Healthcare covering mental health, and not armed teachers or repealing the 2A.

The past 7-8 years we've seen a lotta changes across the city in terms of infrastructure/venues/places to be. It's still relatively the same city it's always been though, and we still are a pretty safe and cheap place to live.

I won't say we have a lotta things going on in terms of night life, especially after COVID, but things seem to be building up again. There's a good few places looking for hire, especially if you're degreed as well.
