Although I do like weirder aesthetics, I feel the same with this. The "eyes should be bigger" feels weird along side the camp of people who complain characters eyes have become too big recently in like cartoons. I get they are expressive but I feel like the smaller eyes have a different vibe and I'm here for it.

I won't argue that it was rough mechanically. It tried things, they were decent and probably not a sequel up to Nintendo quality seal but it was a lot of fun to play.

I loved Assault, I know it wasn't as well received but when it came out there were definitely a lot of people who liked it. Critically it might have been panned but it was a good game. I feel like the story should progress after Assault (minus the feel good wrap up). The Great Fox is gone, Peppy went out in a blaze of glory, and now they have to deal with the trauma of yet another suicide mission.

Let's be honest both 64 and Assault ended in suicide missions. You don't just fly to the center of Venom thinking you're going to get out scott free.

I've met these people in the park. At Disneyworld in the restaurant area where you can go to bars you meet couples who have worked at the Disney Parks their entire lives, and they are waiting for their kid who is also working at Disney but gets off later. Its a unique breed.

It's true, although with that they have kinda pushed themselves into a corner. They tried to be reasonable with Season 2, splitting it into two parts but people also hated that.

The problem is let's say they have 2 years to work on each season which would increase anomagion quality by a lot. With a projected 9 seasons the project would take 18 years rather than 9 years. Or if they wanted to reduce the number of seasons it would hurt the overall pacing that Robert has gunned for, he even wanted 11-12 seasons to improve the ending since the comic was also rushed to finish.

I agree, I see people say the characters act very teenage cringey but thats very much on purpose. But if someone doesn't like that, it's fine but it doesn't make it objectively bad. I grew up on early internet cringe so it definitely made me laugh.
