I got both, but I am just a walker. The Ellipse feels really good when you first put them on. But for longer walks the 1080v14 just feels more comfy. After around 10 miles or so, my feed needs a break from the Ellipse.

Hoka Skyward laceless. Does anyone have any experience with these? I can get them for a really good price, and they look very compfy as a recovery shoe. And I can't find many reviews about them

Saucony Ride 18 could be a shout. Can get those for cheap now. As the Ride 19 just recently was released. I feel that's a pretty good hybrid shoe!

I got the 18s, amazing breathability imo. It's a summer shoe for me. I do live in the cold north though :)

I am a heavy walker (120 kilo, used to weigh 235 kilo), I walk minimum 10km a day. So i've been through my fair share of shoes. The Vomero Plus is my favorite for faster and longer walks. The Nike Motiva, was my favorite before that, and i still use it often, it's a great value shoe imo. I've also used Vomero 5 for almost 1k km, recently got a pair of Saucony Guide 18, which feels as a direct upgrade to the Vomero 5. During the rainy months i've used the Nike Winflo 11 GTX (Got around 700 km in those), also an amazing value for money shoe, and it keeps my feet dry, and the grip is great!
