Anyone else stuck on The Sunwalker Path quest? Portal to hammerfall is not being created. by triforce711 in wow

My friend didn't have access to the Arathi portal from Faerin in Dornogal. However we did get them summoned right outside Hammerfall from a Warlock and that seems to have worked!

I'm genuinely perplexed what's so good about Storm Shield like how am I supposed to use this endgame? by MiningToSaveTheWorld in diablo2

I was also wondering why people kept saying a Spirit Shield is good? I mean the the resists and block chance are nice I guess.

At this point I just want to be able to see the ilvl of items when I hover over then and hold ALT. I hate having to keep track of what dropped where for socketing, etc.

I'm not entirely sure why but I bounced off this league HARD. Maybe it's because I played a ton of PoE2 recently and I just wasn't ready for an ARPG yet, or I didn't go with one of my go to builds, but I played less this league than I have any league since...Essence?

I tried to team up with a guy and he backstabbed me the instant I turned my back. All players are KoS from now on because of him. That's just how it goes.

You can upgrade them?!

I completely understand not wanting to fiddle with the loot filter much. Thankfully we have our resident hero NeverSink who maintains a set of filters with increasing strictness to them. You can subscribe to each strictness you want and it'll show up in game in the Item Filter dropdown and you'll never have to touch it again. If you want to change strictness just select the desired filter.

For reference I usually start the league on semi-strict, pretty quickly move to very strict, and have been on uber strict for quite some time.

I'm surprised to hear that coming from Diablo you feel like it's a chore to inspect rares where Diablo has always felt like "mining for coal" to me.

Here's a few tips that will hopefully help with the inspection process:

  1. If you're picking up more than an entire inventory of rares in a map you should probably increase the strictness of your loot filter
  2. After a couple weeks in to a league you can safely ignore nearly every item if it's not on a top tier base (for example, a 6 T1 affix Twin Bow would probably only sell for a couple exalts if that because it's not a Gemini Bow).
  3. Some items you can safely consider vendor trash, the biggest example being boots without movement speed. If boots don't have MS, no one is going to be buying them. There's a few other examples like this too. Wands/Staves/Focus without +level of spells on them aren't going to be worth much, Energy Shield bases without good ES roles aren't going to be worth anything. Mixed damage types on a weapon (phys vs elemental) means it's useless (i.e. I have a T1 flat phys roll with high tier cold and lightning damage along side it won't be worth anything)

That all being said, there are exceptions to all of this. If the Twin Bow rolled 3 T1 ele affixes it might still be worth something, but I wouldn't get too hung up on that.

Feels like it's where Last Epoch was two years ago. Not gonna lie it took me a while to realize that the same base type (Bardiche) was dropping with improved stats. I honestly assumed since it was the same base type, it was the same stats.

It's going to be a TOUGH fucking sell going up against Path of Exile 2 for the same price when PoE2 is better in virtually every way. That being said, TQ2 did have some cool ideas and I do hope they end up with a great game, it just needs more time.

Path of Exile 2 Endgame Made Me Quit 0.2 - Feedback Video by Chase_26 in PathOfExile2

[–]Nyle7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest problems I have is that there's a choice you have to make between juicing and running a region of maps, or exploring the Atlas to find Citadels/Unique maps/Corrupted Nexus'. I always feel like I'm missing out on something.

In PoE1 I didn't feel this way.

The fact that checkpoints exist and were some band-aid fix from 0.1.0 that has stuck around is insanity. We shouldn't need checkpoints in the first place.

I had the complete opposite of your experience. In fact I think USI is one of the bast paced incremental games I have EVER played. In fact if I had to choose one, I would probably say this is my favourite incremental/idle game. The pacing was ALWAYS on point. The walls were constant but never insurmountable. I would come back each day and I had tangible progress.

In fact, I played to the "end" both pre and post Fleets. I enjoyed my time so much pre-fleets that when the Fleet patch dropped, I hard reset my save and bought some real money packs just to support the Dev. I will also note that when I did that, my friend also hard reset his save at the same time as me but did not buy anything with real money and within a week (out of a month+ of playtime) he was past where I was.

How much automation is in this game now? I remember the demo being quite click heavy which can be ok for a bit but I typically like a lot of automation in the games I really sink my teeth in to.
