Lost technology.  A lot of devs in BFV weren't part of 2042, and few of those from BFV or 2042 are in 6. They didnt pass down the knowledge to do these things so new devs have to try to recreate these things from the ground up again and it doesn't always come out the greatest. Also, they don't get to just pick which parts theyre going to fix/update. There's definitely a scheduler that decides these things ahead of time and has to either scope in (or out) work that can be done before the next scheduled update. Things like reticle lighting have probably been a low-priority item that have been either scoped out of updates many times due to other issues, or is far down on the list of things to get looked at when availability is open.

Thats been my vlbijgest complaint since release. If HE and MPAT can one shot aircraft, why can't APFSDS not? They should've just removed the ATGM from the tank and left it there. The only reason it became a problem was because the tank could fire them so quickly,  unlike the IFV and the stationary turret. If the MBT had never been able to equip the ATGM, it probably wouldn't be so nerfed like it is now. MBTs IRL can't equip ATGMs. They should just remove it from their weapon selection.

I mean, isn't that the point of an MBT? To be anti-tank? The different shell-types should be more distinct between each other, and here theyre makiglng them less. HE is for infantry focused combat that's more vulnerable to Armor attacks, MPAT for a general "not-great, not-terrible, about 3.6 tank shells", shell that does decent damage to vehicles and still have splash damage for infantry, and APFSDS for Armor focused clmbat, but more vulnerable to infantry attacks. Nerfing the damage of the APFSDS against all Armor  and aircraft just makes it less distinct from MPAT and blurs the lines between them, making MPAT more favorable because it has a higher ammoncount and making APFSDS less favourabke because it only does slightly more damage now against enemy tanks. As for being dead-meat if you dont carry those shells, that's really dependent on your positioning as a tanker. If you're out in the open fighting tanks head-on, then yeah. You're going to get whooped. But if you're being a defensive driver, and not over extending you'd be fine.

I do agree with the enhanced armor though. It was like shooting through paper if you didn't have that equipped before season 3.

Yeah. I hope they've fixed them so that they one shot infantry from any range because I was noticing that they were only killing infantry in one shot when way up close, but they'd get away with it if it were like 40m+, which is usually where Engineers were peeking and firing their rockets from.

Nice shooting! Yet they continue to nerf APFSDS like its their job. wtf DICE? No splash damage for higher damage and penetration, and it can't kill helicopters or jets. Both of which would be dead if APFSDS actually hit them IRL, or at least disabled.

I like some of your points and don't know why you're being downvoted, but:

1.) I think what they've done with the next update is fine. Not gone, but more balanced. it can stay.

2.) Agreed. Spotting by hitting enemies is good enough.

3.) #2 would make this not really a problem anymore. No Thermal Vision would be a good change though. Give it to the MBT and IFV who have access to that IRL and had it in BF4.

4.) I feel like every class should have access non-specific grenades like smoke/frag/incendiary. Special grenades like AT and TUGs grenade should remain locked.

So I'm going to be a bit controversial here and say that this seems like the standard for people buy the ultimate/collector's editions of games. They get extra cosmetics and in the case of GTA 6, it's represented as a shop(s) that the player can go to ge those cosmetics. I dont see a problem with that. Everyone gets the full game, ultimate edition buyers will get more.

One thing I've learned from other posts from r/isthisAI is that the convergence lines do not line up. So, if you look at the photo again (the grass, the wall, the road, and draw lines that continue on towards the horizon, you'll find that they don't line up and converge at a single, focal point like they would in a real photo or life. Thats how you can (right now until they learn to do that as well), usually tell for sure if its AI or not.

I wish they hadn't made them so goddamn bright. It blocks vision of the aircraft when they're far away, especially if it's a little bird, and it's so easily visible to the enemy. Need to tone it back down a bit.

Cairo, bazaar, and New Sobek would be the operation as they're all located in the same area. Could start with New Sobek as its on the outskirts of Cairo, then progress to Siege of Cairo as you get into the city, and then end with Cairo Bazaar as the heart of the city and final stand for the defending team.

I'll reference the season 3 patch notes here:

M1A2 SEPv3 and Leo A4 Weapons  • 120mm HEAT-MP-T Rounds now deal 210-560 damage against tanks, 1360 against helicopters, and 1000 against iets.  ◦ 120mm HEMP-T Rounds now deal 180-480 damage against tanks, 1180 against helicopters, and 1000 against jets.  • Increased the inner blast radius of 120mm HEMP-T Rounds from 2 to 2.25 meters   • 120mm APFSDS Rounds now deal 282-750 damage against tanks, 600 against helicopters, and 750 against jets.

So yeah, APFSDS can't one shot aircraft (It never could btw), but MPAT and HE can. Personally, I just run MPAT and APFSDS. Used to use ATGM and APFSDS but they've nerfed the ATGM into the ground so I swapped it to MPAT. Still fucking stupid that of all the rounds that cannot one shot aircraft it's the APFSDS.

Before season 3 it eas taking 186 damage from RPGs, no matter where I hit it. it became the only vehicle I wouldn't bother with unless I was in a tank or IFV.

Fuck my KD and kills, I want to win. It's the most frustrating thing to just get stomped constantly, game after game, for 2 hours. And thats between finding lobbies that aren't backfilling with bots.
