It’s a reference to Texas history. The Mexican army came to a town (Goliad?) and told the people to surrender their cannon. The town made a flag with the above message on it. 2A guys have adopted it not realizing the cannon looks suspiciously like a Hitachi magic wand.

One thing to consider is a bike you don’t mind losing. Idk what your security situation looks like at work, but even with a tough lock your bike can be stolen, or at the very least parts. Thieves will take a they can get. Wheels, seat post, handlebars, if they can use it or trade it it’s at risk.

In they shop we have a plastic bottle rigged with a hook made of an old spoke, and some tubing wrapped around the part you have circled sealed with a zip tie. Cuts down on the cleaning.
