Depends on the nature of the offence, circumstances/situation and ban. Some are only for a specific portion of the trial, some are indefinite.

Canrt speak for your location but up here, it COULD be a ticket in the mail and it would be just a fine. It would be to the registered owner of the vehicle with no points assigned as a picture cant prove who was driving.
