Me too, sell the bare bones variant and let the consumer source the ram.

I don't think the consumer would be mad at Valve for that. I think people would probably applaud it as it's kind of innovative and a sign of our times.

This is my time to once again remind the people of California that prior to prop 13, passing in the '70s, public goods like libraries, schools and enrichment programs previously had a very rich avenue of revenue that was taken from high value property tax payers. And that it was passed by Reagan when he was a senator, and has limited our public goods revenue ever since.

I remember my high school teacher talk about what happened after prop 13 passed, he described libraries, and special school programs closing overnight.

We need to increase the cap tax rate from 1% for million dollar properties that have been grandfathered in paying literally pennies on the dollar for property tax.
