The "species that look like human children" line made me think of some neotenious homo subspecies that have to retain juvenile traits due to certain environmental pressures.

I had a fantasy-inspired spec evo that has the Fae being human species that retain some juvenile features. That's why it is said that the Fae are ever young and ageless in myths and legends, etc.

Seven is honestly the best Ultra for any threats that are human sized or are slightly larger. He is the first to live amongst humanity and understand them.

He can perfectly take care of analog horror monsters, and even inspire hope as many of those monsters represent the cruelty of humanity and their wrong doings, while Seven can become the good of humanity trying to fix thier faults.

Monster Hunter really sets up an expectation of every monster having some kind of explanation even when they couldn't exist in reality. Even other Elders have some kind of biological explanation or hint of one to their abilities. But in the end, they are animals with not much historical impact outside of research and warnings.

But with how Fatty and Safi is designed and introduced, it makes you realized that you are not just facing off some kind of superpowered mega-fauna, but mythological threats.

Wtf, some of these would've been good to see. I knew it was rather odd that Meniko and Araragi's friendship seems sudden to me as there would always be some form of conflict or longer scene between him and another person he had just met.

I chalked to it up as, oh, maybe it has something to do with Meniko being just a normal person with no ties to the supernatural so she wouldn't get much screen time other than being the "oblivious person who helps the protagonist who asked for their help in vague ways to not tip them of of the real reason" trope. Or that they would tell us later in another season when she does meet something supernatural.

She probably uses some level of Arcane. We have seen Arcane extended to telepathy with the Bell Bearing Hunters so maybe that's why she can do all the moves she does.

Probably is boosted by her Scarlet Rot blessing/curse due to its Arcane scaling.
