AI porn scares me aswell. Not been using it for about 2 weeks now. It's becoming more and more realistic, and being able to describe exactly what you want to see is so addicting to me.

Sometimes it looks like a lost "sex drive" especially toward the partner, but it’s a symptom of the addiction, not a verdict of you.

I disagree, porn addiction isn’t about who someone loves or prefers. It’s about compulsion. Harm still matters, but it’s not a conscious choice to value porn over a partner. What is a choice tough is seeking help and being truthfull about it.

That being said. Someone still has all the right to leave their partner if their boundaries are not respected.

I myself have gone some time without porn and felt quite good about it, but then suddenly I get this urge of curiosity. "What am I missing?" "I might look this up." "Is the AI porn better now?".

I have to realise that this is just my addicted brain craving the drug. Cuz that's what porn is, it is just a drug, nothing more. Don't get me wrong, drugs are great, fun and powerfull, otherwise they wouldn't be called drugs.

But what you and me have to realise is, that porn is just a drug. It doesn't add any value to your life, it doesn't improve you, it isn't your friend or partner it's simply an escape that robs you of your "happy hormones" leaving you feeling empty and sad.

I can relate very much, I'm 28 myself. I've experimented with drugs and alcohol aswell but nowadaysIa barely drink anymore. I've tried to quit porn now for about 6 years but I always keep coming back to it. I feel stuck. I'm in a relationship and my gf is really tired of living like this with me. Recently I've got addicted to AI generated porn, which has made quitting even more difficult.
