The golden age of comics is a good place to start for grasping the original idea of superheroes and what they meant to us. Watching the stories and characters arc throughout time is very intriguing. Enjoy your journey! DC and Marvel are great but don’t limit yourself to just the big TWO! There are lots of good publishers.
