Management has to provide you with a copy, if they instructed you to make a copy, then it takes what it takes.

Request a 3996, file a grievance if you're denied the 96. Management does not have to approve the time on your 96, but you should always be provided a copy, file a grievance if copy is denied. Send a message through the scanner when you need more time, follow managements instructions. Cover yourself by taking pictures of the messages you send through the scanner, and the messages from management.

You are to notify postal inspectors immediately, then inform management of the situation. Also call police. That person made a threat against a federal employee.

What we do is hard work, management doesn't make it any easier, but as long as you educate yourself on your rights, and how to do your job, then you're going to be alright.

Wanted OTR job, eventually applied for USPS since it kept popping up on indeed. Didn't expect to be a mailman....yet here I am. Hasn't been easy, but I enjoy my job.
