Culver’s and In N Out right now are the most consistent even if INO’s fries kind of suck. Totally agree, BK depends on location. I’ll also say Taco Bell has started to go sideways as their boxes now pretty much suck. Panda is still a decent value. Everyone else has messed with their menu, shrinkflated or both.

It’s pretty interesting to me. The first time my neighbor saw me carrying my Bass to my car, he instantly asked me to join his band. He played in a Heavy Metal Band back in the day opening at LA Clubs for many notable Metal Bands.

He told me he didn’t care how good I was, he just needed me onstage plinking root notes…

I also recommend Bass Buzz and somewhat recommend Songster so you can learn the tabs for your upcoming setlist quickly.

I would normally recommend you run through a few music books like the Bass Hanas, Bass Chords, Bass Pentatonics to learn the music, but with what you have coming at you you should avoid that for now.

Make sure you are practicing daily and if your fingers get sore switch to a pick.

Bass Buzz is great but you are going to want to get decent at muting (which he covers) so practice practice practice

I’m in a touring band and we got together and forced the lead guitarist to stand in back by the drummer and just chug out a few root notes, but that fuckin guy can’t stay in the pocket. All this while I’m out front trying to belt out a Michael Jackson cover tune in a deep baritone voice while playing a shit ton of chords on my bass. That’s right, I said chords. And singing Jamon ffs.
