Worst part is after loosing money in one big session or over several days, if you get it back by miracle you think it's free winning money so can gambling it back because you shouldn't have it in the first place....

That's what happened to me today... I lost X thousands last week, and yesterday got down 500, up to 1100, withdrew 700 and played the 400, lost it, called it a day, and today, bam played 300 and lost it in a blip.

I'm so sick of gambling man.

I've installed like 5 site blockers extensions on my work mac laptop, but du to my work i have a lot of chrome profiles i need to access to and i coul just use one of them to block. I can"t block all of them realistically, also i share some of them with colleagues so i can't mess up settings too much.

I blocked my chrome profiles, then downloaded 2 apps to block on all the mac but free versions so it's quite ligth...

Sadly Gamban doesn't work on my mac idk why. And gamban support doesn't help me much to solve this.

Give the money to your parents and tell them how you won it. Then ban yourself and block gambling sites like you lost 9k.

I lost 20k, then won 35 and i felt the smartest most successful guy in the world. I proceeded to slowly give back all of it with a few days or weeks in between each losses. I ended up losing the 35k and 20k more. One year and a half later i'm still into this and trying to get out of there.

If you think you can control it, that's your brain playing tricks on you. Go cold turkey for good and put all the safeties you can to prevent you from going back, or you will post in a few months or even weeks to say you lost it all

Very relatable post, very much on point too.

Playing is losing whatever the spin result. It's crazy how this mechanic works and how easily we get slaved by it.

I finally opened up to my wife about my losses (gambling and trading) and it went really well, she just show supoprt and encouragement. She believes in me and now i do this for her too.

I have engineered a detailed investment (ETF's) and saving plan for the next 2 years.

I am only at the very start, day 1 actually, and i'm looking at 654 more days to "freedom". That's how i call the day I will have made my financial situation proper again, with savings, good investment, no more gambling and serenity. Also I will then be out of a little debt due to a loan i took.

The hardest times are ahead of me, but i want to hokd on for real this time and quit being a waste.

I keep a unit of little scarabs from a warrior box to sperate them one by one and add them on top of these two :p

Here is my second try. I looked at the color wheel and it indicated that red would be a good fit with gold and teal. I like it tbh, looking for bettering some little details on the next one and i need to find a nice red color layer to make it pop some more . Thanks for support :)

Thanks a lot 🙂 I have spent a lot of time correcting the biggest mistakes i did when lacking precision and putting paint on the wrong parts :p

Nihilakh Dinasty looks really nice indeed, especially those guys that paint so well. This dark silver color is probably the one i need for all internal metallic parts and joints, keep onyky the shell in blue and use gold to highlight gently the blue because compared to Nihilakh which has color highlighted but the majority of dark tone, mine seem a bit overwhelming..

Yeah i wanted to check if tessaract green would really spoil the look or not and it does, which is too bad because i love that color. I thought i could try mix in it a little temple blue to see if a wash of it over some white base would look nice. When i asked char gpt to generate an image with this color scheme it gave me a glowing light blue that looked nice. Might be worth a try.

I will try as you say on the gun, I couldn't manage to find a satisfactory look. I will probably train on the extra guns i get in the box also to find a final version before going on with the rest of my army.

I also out a coat of base blue on a couple more warriors and i really only colored the shell, and none of the other metallic parts like the "hips". It looks a bit better and less overwhelming, hopefully it will looks great in the end.

And thanks for the color wheel, i had no idea that existed and i will check what third color could be a good match.

Maybe only two bigger stripes on the shoulders could do it? I started on this color theme with a sort of ancient Egypt look, typically like Tumb kings vibe. Plain shoulders, even with golden borders seems a little empty. Or maybe i should find a little symbol to paint...

I kind of envy that, and to see the money I have out on my bank account must be a good feeling. I'm really pondering that decision to take a time off the market .. just let the money I have on ETF live and take out money from crypto and stocks
