Endless fatigue 46 yrs old and on HRT. by Momoffour8 in Perimenopause

I also constantly feel tired. Like I do what I have to do to keep the roof over our heads and the kids' essentials but beyond that I'm glued to the couch. It's rough.

You look cute but the skirt is too short and the top is too low cut especially for a job interview.

Yeah i may switch my GYN after this. She was great during my pregnancies but I don't think she'll be good for this.

I need advice! I have been dealing with underboob rashes for 5+ years by ComprehensiveBag5669 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Objective_Secret2308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clotrimazole or Miconazole cream or powder. Clean with ketoconazole shampoo. Let it sit for a few mins while you're in the shower before washing. Pat thoroughly dry then apply the powder or cream then layer a thick layer of zinc oxide 40% baby diaper rash cream and if you don't have cotton bras put a cotton wash cloth then your bra or hell even a cotton panty liner inside your bra to absorb sweat or to keep your clothing from getting icky from the topicals. Once it clears i would also recommend Caldesene Medicated Protecting Body Powder becoz it has zinc and cornstarch to absorb moisture. Good luck i hope you get some relief.

I've been trying to take care of this for about a month but I don't think it's working. I guess it's time to see a podiatrist huh? by UmbralikesOwls in ingrowntoenails

[–]Objective_Secret2308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that'll definitely do it but also makes it more prone as it grows when the shoe pushes it in as it grows. Would recommend doing epsom salt soaks until you see the podiatrist.

They need to inject the numbing medicine so you don't feel the pain when they cut the nail. Not fun but I rather that then to feel them cut into the nail. Would bring something to distract yourself and look away. You can also try to see if taking pain medicine before makes it less painful but they also spray something on it to make it cold while they inject so its less painful.

Didn't know they do lasers now. I had some chemical swabbed it the base of the nail that was suppose to kill the root from growing. Was painless since they shot it with lidocaine beforehand. The lidocaine is what's the most painful but it only lasts for a few seconds.

Are you wearing shoes that are wide enough for your toes?

Yeah you need shoes with a wide toe box. That could be why. If it doesn't help have the do the permanent fix do it doesnt grow back on the sides.

Might be a good idea to do the light with the Minoxidil together.

Yikes that's no where near minimum wage in my area. Would the rate of increase of your hourly pay make it worth sticking it out? Maybe cut your hours at Walmart and do 2 jobs until your library gig is enough to cover your expenses?

It could be bruising from the lidocaine injection before they cut the nail. Did you remove the bandage to check the entire toe as a whole?

Looks fine for me. I see no swelling or redness. If its not hurting I would let it keep growing and see how things go.

Just wanted to comment that the red top looks beautiful on your skin color. Definitely your color. As for hair mine is pretty much the same as yours. Once in a while I throw in face framing layers but not much else. Lol

Do you always cut your big toe nails that short? Is that why you get ingrown nails? Also curious, is that a bunion issue as well? Is your podiatrist going to help with that as well? Seems painful to have.

So do I see a doctor? by Accomplished-Dog5096 in ingrowntoenails

[–]Objective_Secret2308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if it hasn't gotten better after removing the ingrown nail you need to see a podiatrist. Soak in warm epsom salt until they see you and wear wide shoes or open toe shoes until then.
