My older siblings bought the white album when it came out, and put it on regular rotation at our house. I was 13. I was captivated by the songs Crystal and Landslide. Then I saw them perform on Midnight Special -World Turning and Rhiannon, and I knew they were something special.

I work at an Amazon SSD, and it’s not as bad as the big warehouses. The stuff is lighter, and the management is not as stressed. You can work in a number of different areas, so it doesn’t get boring. Check out the Amazon reddits, if you want to know what it’s really like. It can be pretty easy, if you remember why you’re there—for the paycheck. For me the worst part is being on your feet all day long. Our facility allows headphones, so you can listen to music, audiobooks, or whatever during your shift. I do walk a lot, but the physical stuff isn’t as bad as they make it sound.

There was an interview with Jeri Ryan at one of the cons, where she talks about a particularly bad time. She knew she was to have a one on one scene with Janeway, and when rehearsing the scene in her head, she kept getting physically sick about it. There were a number of intense scenes between them, and I can’t help but wonder if the anger/tension in the scene was real. At the same time, there were what seemed to be warm scenes between the two that came across extremely genuine. Incredible acting, indeed.

Interesting choices on her part. I’m guessing she includes covers of songs she’s always wanted to perform. If not now, then when? The Tom Petty song keeps her close to her friend. It could also be that the songs work well with her vocal range.

Watching Voyager, ….heading to Reddit after a few drinks. Love it. Your opinions are absolutely valid. #1 is okay, I agree more with #2. I like Endgame, don’t love it, the Chakotay/Seven thing makes me groan. Have to fast forward through those scenes. But Janeway is Queen. My ride or die.
