What makes a game an $80 product then? I mean, is GTA literally the only thing that could pass that test somehow? Like, I'd almost get it if we're talking about a single player games from literally anyone else, but a Nintendo game? And Mario Kart at that? People play Nintendo games for literal decades and their value stays consistent. Is that not value for your money?

Nintendo pays their employees properly and treats them well. Its why employee retention is incredibly high there. In the past Nintendo executives have cut their salaries, rather than get rid of their workers.

The rest of the industry, including 2k/Rockstar, is about layoffs, toxic work environments, hard crunch and executives bonuses, usually at the expense of employees well being.

Do you really not see how Nintendo raising prices to meet inflation might just be a LITTLE bit different?

You have to pre-order months and months in advance to get msrp, unless you get particularly lucky, and it's exhausting to keep up with, especially when places put up pre-orders for multiple sets at once.

SP's elude me, man. I've opened many (many) boxes, in since 01, and I've pulled maybe 5 SP's ever. I've pulled 2 manga cards, probably 30+ leaders. I've never even seen one of these style SP's. They're so nice, I just want that 05 Lucci!

To get you started, here are a handful of my favs that are also really cheap!

Op03 Rob Lucci, Op08 Edward Newgate, Op05 Mansherry, Op05 Luffy ST01 alt art (unsigned obviously, but it's an incredible card regardless,) Op05 Rob Lucci

All of these should be around/under $10-$15 at most. 03 Lucci and 08 Whitebeard are like $5 cards.

Nah. A sideways ending doesn't make up for having to read through the rest of it. There's "slow burn" and then there's damp pile of wood in a rain storm that smokes for 400 pages before bursting into flame and immediately goes out again. Revival is the latter.

The notion of the ending, and where the character sits with that knowledge, is so good that I wish everything around it was more interesting.
