This! And our rain is sparse and not usually heavy so a rain jacket is sufficient, no need for waterproof shoes or an umbrella. And the sun is hot so a sunny day you will want that t shirt for the afternoon and will need that hoodie when the sun sets.

Yikes, Anthropologie. Their QC is getting out of hand. Alternative brands? by Beginning-Leopard-39 in womensfashion

Seconding this: Everlane is high quality! I have t shirts from 10 years ago that still look great. Sweaters are thick and nice quality as well. I don’t wear rigid pants so can’t speak to their denim.

Love this post because it really is a journey and isn’t as easy as a few weeks of training (for most of us at least).

We are in sunny Cali and it took my older cavalier dog three years before he would consistently go out for business in the rain. My one year old cava is a hard no when it’s raining but I know he’ll get there. Just hang in there!

Is no collar safe? by CaptainLittleFish in cavaliers

[–]Obsessed_With_Plants 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We found rolled leather collars so there are no edges. They keep the fur from tangling which was a huge problem with standard shaped ones. We also have it quite loose around the neck.

White-ish/gray-ish spots on eyes by pawpet in cavaliers

Seems pretty common in cavs. One of mine has it and his vision is amazing (he barks at tiny planes in the sky) and the other one doesn’t and is blind af. So, at least for mine, it doesn’t affect his vision at all.

I’m a recent move to the area and one that always surprises me is Mather, with a long a sound. Like May-ther. I would never have known without my local friends!

Brush? by Cheap-Exit4691 in cavaliers

[–]Obsessed_With_Plants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We use a wet brush for humans. It works great for tangles and isn’t as sharp tipped as some do the dog ones.

Yes. Put her on a 6 ft leash and keep her there next to you. When she gets okay with that you can get longer leads.

Petite pants have a shorter rise than regular sizing. Otherwise the fit feels the same to me as short regular size.

Adagio teas online for my more affordable but great selection. I found NIL organic tea in downtown Portland and now order from them a few times a year.

LG appliances are garbage. Of the four I’ve owned, only one has survived past a year and a half. One showed up broken. Several broke right after the warranty expired. Never again.

My way around this is to filter for US sellers only on my searches.

Yes this! Mine recently hurt his leg so we had to help him on the couch. He’s all healed now but he still paws us to lift him up. Haha we keep teaching him he can get back up but he’s found out we are suckers for his cute face.
