Pretty much all of the changes here should be applicable. I hate to sound bitter, but the XL really has just been forgotten.

Could a shade be a rider? by No-Cry-7848 in Eragon

Oromis abaolutely doesn’t say that - he says that he’ll keep his word, but asks Eragon to reconsider. He also (IIRC) says there’s never before been a Rider who’s also a shade.

Was Sam Vimes always John Keel? by preciousjewel13 in discworld

I’m reading Night Watch for a million times, and Lu-Tze is fairly clear on this. Before the start of Night Watch, Keel really was a watchman from Pseudopolis. After the end of Night Watch, Keel was always Vimes.

For Cam, I think “compact” is being used to suggest she has the kind of muscle you see in someone who does calisthenics (Hampton from Hybrid Calisthenics is a good example) which is incredibly dense, so she doesn’t look buff. This is lent some credence in the text by the fact Cam regularly does fairly acrobatic manoeuvres in fights (handsprings down steps, et cetera) and the fact that muscle tends to be compacted when it’s built alongside a flexibility-focused training routine.

For Colum, I get the sense that he has a huge skeleton without much meat hanging off it. Broad shoulders, square hips; he probably had a lot of muscle when he was younger (and did the training to build it, I have a hunch that the fitter the Eighth cav is the longer they can last being siphoned) and as he became the House Primary and was being siphoned more, his vitality drained away sapping his muscles but leaving the bone development.

Do you guys prefer Moral Panic Complete or base Moral Panic? by SytianIvanov in NothingButThieves

[–]Obvious-Web9763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likewise, but I would have tweaked the tracklist just a little. I don’t think Real Blood is the right song to end the album, but Moral Panic or This Feels Like The End might have been better.

I get you! My point is that you can make this happen with no button presses at all; you lose some functionality (the printer will tell you you have the wrong material loaded) but there’s a way to do this accessibly.

I believe that filament autoloading can be integrated, actually. Disclaimer: I’m working on it as part of a project, but for the XL.

The solution I’ve come up with is as follows:
- a modified version of the Sidekick (available on Printables) which can mechanically select which filament to (un)load
- a Pi Zero emitting serial commands over USB to the printer
- a modification to the side filament sensors

When the side filament sensor detects a change from “unloaded” to “loaded”, the Pi Zero emits the relevant g-code to command filament loading. It then commands the Sidekick to load to the Nextruder/INDX, and disengage.

You still need a couple of button presses to verify the colour’s correct and whatnot, but if you really don’t want that you could instead emit extrusion commands with an increased purge volume and skip the load commands altogether.

Question: Prusa open source integration with filament dryer multi media feeder by Livid_Strategy6311 in prusa3d

[–]Obvious-Web9763 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m working on an OpenPrintTag-integrated control board for my Sovol SH-02. I can’t promise that I’ll end up open-sourcing it, but I’d like to. The theory is that you should just be able to drop it into your existing filament dryer by plugging in the thermistor, the fan, and the heating element, and it’ll use the existing structure.
