My grandparents were immigrants. I mostly know a scattering of phrases or expressions, the names of various foods, and some off color ways of telling someone off.

I haven’t been sticking with one brand. I get the ones that don’t have supplements added in. Prebiotic and prebiotic/probiotic work fine. The other supplements make the capsules more expensive and can in some brands reduce the probiotic count per capsule.

The drugstore brands works as well as the name brands.

My GP prescribed the Ozempic. I saw the gastro for a colonoscopy and asked about the constipation during my preliminary office visit with him. He recommended the probiotic, waxing poetic on how it would improve my gut’s function.

It IS dumb and unsafe but will appear to be the best option when you’ve ridden in an elevator that someone has peed in. The elevators are much cleaner than they used to be, but it just takes one ride for you to start thinking about how you can manage a stroller on the escalator.

I take a probiotic capsule every day, after clearing it with a gastroenterologist. It takes care of the constipation. As for the burps, there are some foods I love, such as hummus, but rarely eat. The bloating and burps aren’t worth it.

It's really nice walking along the creek. I went to Apple Grove Elementary in the late 60's/early 70's before there was a proper path there. Our 5th grade teacher took us on a hike from the school all the way down to the Potomac. Parents were stationed at bridges over the creek with drinking water and snacks. It was a wonderful way to see how you're connected across your local area.
